now i'm really mad. i've just spent ages doing this online form, plus the hour or so i spent earlier and somehow its all been lost. i can't believe it, i just don't have the energy to do it all again and i'd really made a good job of it. basically i think i didn't save it before i went out but left the tab open and so when i came back just continued - when i went to move to another page it asked me to log in and only what i did before today is there. I know it probably sounds silly but its just one more thing i can't cope with.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Wow, it was lovely to come home to a clean kitchen this evening! Gave me the incentive I needed to do today's tasks. I also cleaned the sink cupboard in a desperate attempt to find a duster (wasn't there in the end but the cupboard looks good!) and I found some lost scissors down the side of the sofa which was a bit of a result!
Tomorrow is looking good too as I had a major bedroom clean at the weekend - including hoovering the matress and cleaning under the bed. I might spend the extra time doing a bit of a sort of my clothes & shoes! (can't imagine how those of you with kids cope - it's enough trouble looking after myself!)
PS Can anyone advise me on a good way to clean windows - or point me in the direction of a post that tells me. I somehow manage to make them look worse than they were to start with.
Hugs to those of you who've had terrible days - puts my gripes into perspective.
Off to bed now - don't stay up too late!

Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –- Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper. Too daunting!
- Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself well I moved one sofa a bit - does that count?
- Clean a window or two.
- Get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be, or better still give them to their owners to put away themselves The dog is unfortunately not trained well enough to put her toys back in her box!
Clean light fittings, skirtings even the ones behind furniture. Clean fire-surrounds. Wipe sofa's down.Feb 14 GC - £89.37/£3000 -

sad thing is even though we had lived here for well over 2 yrs, with 3 cats we have lost all 3 in under 4 months by being hit by cars:o only got the newest kitten, mabel, left.I won't have anymore cats now whilst we are living here, can't go through the hearache again.
hardest thing was telling the kids.

RIP tabatha

Yes he's 6, that is EXACTLY what he has circled in the book, so trying to find maybe something similar and cheaper if possible. As far as the bin goes, I've had brushed steel and the insides of them cracked too, think I might just buy a decent plastic one.ChasingButterflies wrote: »lil_me How old is ds2? sorry 6 sticks in my head but it is still a bit fuzzy...
Is this the sort of desk underneath that you mean http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6637178.htm
LJD1 pleased to hear it went well.
Rach- scary that is, hate it when there is large gangs of kids regardless of them having weapons or not, I'd have kept driving round, then finding that it haddn't saved, hope you find it in you to do it again.
borderlakland what a beautiful kitty, such a shame, my best friend used to live next door to me (I wish she'd never moved as that is where the idiot now lives) anyway when she did she had a cat, I said leave her here as she was used to the fields etc, unfortunately they were there 2 weeks and she was found dead on the road
she now has 2 indoor cats, some might say it is cruel but these 2 are petrified of any form of cars and more than happy. They wander into the garden occasionally but they never go any further (of course won't go out if it's raining)
oh no, stress, me & not eating properly = a cold
snotty, coughing, earache & headache, bother!
We told the boys tonight, they are very excited, have said it's still a maybe (until we get the keys) but with us & family talking about it was only going to come out accidentally. They're trying to talk Daddy into getting the keys on Saturday :rotfl:One day I might be more organised...........

So you are trying to get the boys to wear daddy down because he isn't listening to you Lil-me.. that's sneaky! lol.. plus they can help pack now too!!
I've somehow managed to kick my IBS off today.. I don't know why or what I have done or eaten it's just decided after months of being fine it would start up.. all I need now is the alopecia back and I'll be looking gorgeous again!
SO.. I am going to find uniforms and take myself off to bed with a box of rennies and a cuppa and I'll be back in the mooning..
Hubby being a twerp again.. just asked who I was texting at 3am.. as far as I was aware I was kind of asleep (I was just dozing after half 2) but I guess I was either checking the time or checking if the alarm was set.. he is a right pill-lock at times!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
:rotfl: me, try to wear him down
would I do such a thing (more than once in a week :rotfl:)
We did have some what could be bad news this week, tried to not let it cloud the rest, if it happens I'll need more MSE ideas than ever. DP doesn't get sick pay at work as he's classed as self employed and he's been told with this ankle injury he's managed to stretch or tear they are unsure which but are looking closer at xrays, the ligament between the bones, they will likely suggest surgery, he's been refered by physio to a surgeon. He's determined he will not be doing it (he's scared stiff to be honest) but if he does HAVE TO, he's looking up to 6 months off work from what was said. Bother! Will have to just wait and see really.
Pigpen, complex carbs and proteins set mine off, nightmare isn't it! I've just done the uniforms myself, off to bed with a lemsip (oh the excitement)One day I might be more organised...........

((((Rach)))) Poor you, online forms are such a nightmare aren't they? Can you try again in the morning? Sometimes I type them in Word and then copy and paste them across afterwards.
So sorry to read about your cat borderlakland - in the photo she is really beautiful, I'm really sorry for your loss.
I've just finished my ironing and am sitting on my makeshift bed ready for bed! Have wrapped up in clothing as i keep finding flea bites on me. I'm hoping that if I wear socks etc. the fleas can't find any skin. My housemate has de-flead her animals, but they must still be around. I have some mosquito plug in repellant, will that work the same on the fleas?!
