  • Early start for me and I've got the heating on to get the washing mountain dry and another load in the WM. 15 min wizz round the livingroom before I have to get ready for work. I can do the rest of the livingroom this evening and am switching the bedroom day for the bathroom day 'cos that didn't get done last week. All must be shipshape by 9 before double Heroes though.

Rach, Denise, MPs and Lil_me, ta! I'm still grinning eeeeeeee. No idea yet what I'll cook but I'll have to decide today so's I can shop on the way home.. Good for me I've got £8 of my Sept grocery Challenge budget left though!

Gotta scoot, have a lovely Wednesday all!

Right I'm back on board today. I've decided I'm going to veg and get the house done rather than just do nothing...I'm not sure it worked for me.
So , I've emptied the DW and stripped my bed and put sheets in WM. Have soaked last night's saucepan.
So, I'm going to do the lounge today, my bedroom and probably the bathroom. Also going to hoover through and wash floors. I've got some other washing to sort out as well.
OK, I'll catch up with you in a bit.

Gonna put kitchen back together today ie: blummin good wash from top to toe and put everything back in it that's currently residing in my living room. Can't do anything else in it now till Monday when I've got the funds for a bag of joint cement lol so that's first on my list.

The other babies now have names too, see here

I think I need more than 15 minutes to sort all the paperwork and junk on my desk. Ok correction, on the floor, just grabbed something and the whole lot fell onto the floor. Oh well, I can see my desk again

I meant to ask, how did everyone get on with the ebay challenge? I found a few things but didn't get anything listed. Thought I might give it a go this week...

    Morning all :hello:

    :grouphug: to all

Solway - :D Go girl! :rotfl:

Right, DD is actually moving herself this morning  I think it may be the promise of watching Evenesence videos on the computer before school. That on top of her requesting to stay up and watch the news last night I'm yet again wondering how old she really is. :rotfl::rotfl:

Busy day for me. I have 2 loads of washing to do (if I strip our bed make it 4 as I'll put all the whites in together with the sheets and the quilt/pillowcases will have their own wash again). I also NEED to sort out food shopping as I only have £80 in my bank account and thats AFTER OH has paid me

Last night we had a proper finance meeting and OH applied for a Sainsburys loan and got turned down! Probably due to the fact that he tried to apply as "single" but we're still financially linked and still living in the same house  But he went and applied through his bank who have said "we need to know more so we'll contact you in the next 2 days" so I'm crossing EVERYTHING. If we can sort the loan then it pays off ALL our debts in 1 go, and covers the car insurance due at the start of November, and gives us £300 a month SPARE to pay for Xmas, uniforms/clothes/shoes, car repair bills, household stuff we NEED to replace (like our mattress & the sofa! Both of which are beyond repair as they're 2nd hand and at least 10 years old when we got them :o ) and we might even be able to manage to afford a social life :rotfl::rotfl: Best thing though is he's asked for 3 months deferred payments which would take us to January which is when our other loan is paid off and this new one he's applied for is £10 cheaper a month anyway :rotfl: Looks like officially we have to carry on being classed as "living with partner" for the time being. Oh and thanks Pigpen for the inspiration to look into it :D:D

Right, off to make beds & kick DDs bottom ;)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Morning, DS1 gone just waiting to take DS2, swept the floor instead of vacuuming this morning as neighbours are still in bed.

Did some more assignment work last night, going to make the most of the time I have and try to do a little more today, to be honest I will be pleased when it is over, one less stress to worry about.

Nikki got everything crossed for you :)

Solwaykid, would be a shame to go over budget, I'm sure you'll manage something that keeps you either close to it or just over.

Made a big pot of coffee, trying to wake myself up a bit after a restless night, darn colds, help yourself :D I don't even know what will be on my list today apart from more flying/flinging in my room. I'll be back once my brain is functioning better.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • morning - i am around again today. Charlie is a bit better, but i still feel sicky so thought i would go back tomorrow when i have a lighter day. DH was making me feel guilty but i have to do what makes me feel better.

Anyway, just thought i would pop in to see what was to be done, which is a lot as i am still behind despite being at home for the past 2 days.

toria and tracey thanks for sharing i am not the only one with an early 2 year old. He already seems loads better today so hope that means we can move forward a bit, although i will remember the choc buttons idea. ;)

solway way to go. we will want the next installment on friday

border sorry again about your cat. That is my worst nightmare and to have it happen to 3.

mushy you will probably have to get your friend to spray the furniture and carpets to get rid of the fleas. We only just appear to have got rid of them since june, and that was with lots of treatments, grooming, me hoovering just about every day, and spraying 3 times. They are a nightmare, and if the heating has just gone on it might cause any eggs to hatch.

nicki can't believe you have an area that has dust. You normally are so in control of the house - we have found your hiding place. :rotfl:

Anyway, best get me and the boy dressed as the window cleaners are knocking around and as it is the 1st time in a month the windows really need it. Might also splash out the extra pound and get them to do the back of the house - live dangerously. Although that will mean they can see what a dump the spare room is.

    See you all later.
