:( couldn't get the page to work Shirley, just wondered do you know if there are any national rat society type pages ? Reason I ask is the ones I have been asked to look after we can not due to moving, so they need a temp home for 3 weeks, the current person with them lives in Durham has basically had them 'left with her' by her daughter when she went to travel the world, they were hoping to rehome all of them (was many more) but these ones are older I think so haven't managed to rehome them. So basically looking for someone to help out while they are away on holiday.

Try https://www.fancy-rats.co.uk, that's the biggest UK fancy rat forum, if they ask on there then someone may be able to look after them, they also have a rehoming forum on there if they are still looking to rehome them.

Would they be able to travel to Newcastle ? There's a couple of people that I know of there who may be able to help.

    Morning everyone,
I didn't get a chance to post yesterday and I can't quite face reading through the thread yet, so I hope everyone is ok....
I managed to do yesterdays list, except the floor. Unfortunately, it now doesn't look like I've done anything at all! I hate that!
Anyway, I'll crack on with todays list and see how it goes....

Morning all :hello: Much more awake today after getting into bed at 10.10 last night :D Problem is we had a role reversal last night - OH decided he wanted to talk to me and I fell asleep :o He had a right face on him this morning but I don't blame him, I'm a b*tch when he does that to me :o:o:o (and thats my opinion of my behaviour not his!)

Right, best get a move on. DD is NOT coming down here when the alarm to leave goes off like yesterday. Off to kick her backside into gear

Morning all, here we go again!

I had a completely rubbish evening, only worked on my essay for 30 min and then spent the rest of the night pigging out. The flat I'm staying in in London is really getting me down - last night I walked in the kitchen and there were slugs and cat poo on the floor. The flat really smells. How can people live like this?! It's made me try to figure out if I can buy my own place in London, at least I could then join in with the flying :)

    My list today:

    WORK
[ ] Online tutoring catch up
[ ] Prepare for job interview, plan route and time to leave
[ ] Catch up with day job!

    ADMIN
[ ] Phone company to see when bed will arrive
COLOR=darkred]x[/COLOR Pay outstanding Uni fees (even those where I might get funding!)
[ ] Enrol to Uni course online
[ ] Chase up contracts to get some money!!

    HOUSEHOLD
    [ ] Washing
    [ ] Dry trainers
    [ ] TD smalls

Off to get myself a cuppa from the canteen. Catch you all later.

    Morning all,

Hugs to embb and anyone else who needs them.
Can't wait to see the new pics of sonic lil_me - he is really cute. Is he any less prickly yet (I mean does he let you hold him, for anyone who thinks I've lost the plot as hedgehogs are prickly)?

It's nice to not have to get up too early today as I didn't have to go temping, so I made the most of it and had a lye in til 8. Have just caught up with the thread, which has taken me ages! We are a chatty group aren't we?

Made OH empty the hoover this morning before he went to work so that I can hoover more effectively today. Just been in the TV room (which he was meant to be decluttering) and it looks like a bomb has hit it!! Don't know how I'm going to clear it all today. Really will be a case of dusting around things I think. Kitchen needs to be cleared as well as OH did the dinner last night, and has left it in a mess again - he's such a messy cook!

Well off to have a shower in a min and then some brekkie - the weather here isn't too bad so may also be able to do some washing today. Oh yes, and the windows here (outside) are filthy so I must add that to my list if I have a chance to do them. Plus the task I look forward to (genuinely cos I'm anal) - polishing the brass on the front door.

    morning all,
just com back from school run and going to start cracking on with Tuwsdays list. Must spend 1hour in garage just moving stuff around but at least I can then get rid of lots of stuff hoarded in house. I know its moving things from A to B but its the only way I can start on this mountain and start having a beautiful house again within 3 weeks.

about the slug issue. I used to get them coming in - just the odd one now when it rains alot. but used to put salt on the back door step and round the side of the house outside. seemed to shrivel them up!
never had cat poo, but when I had a stray cat many years that kept coming in the house, a water pistol sorted it out.

    off to clean now

ShirleyPark - Your new ratties are adorable! I love the names. I'm hoping to get 3 more this nov/dec as 2 of mine recently passed away and Nia is on her own at the moment (so i have to give her bonus affection - the big squidgy!)
