Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
morning all,
just com back from school run and going to start cracking on with Tuwsdays list. Must spend 1hour in garage just moving stuff around but at least I can then get rid of lots of stuff hoarded in house. I know its moving things from A to B but its the only way I can start on this mountain and start having a beautiful house again within 3 weeks.
about the slug issue. I used to get them coming in - just the odd one now when it rains alot. but used to put salt on the back door step and round the side of the house outside. seemed to shrivel them up!
never had cat poo, but when I had a stray cat many years that kept coming in the house, a water pistol sorted it out.
off to clean now.

Hi again,
I've managed to fill the dishwasher and put it on, and have shower.
I feel like doing absolutely nothing today.
So I might...! Well I'll probably give the kitchen a once over, do a quick dust and hoover, but that won't take me long.
Then I'm going to relax. DH is away today and tomorrow and I adore my own space. ( His office is currently, and will probably stay, in the front room)
So I'm going to read posts and watch telly and do not very much.
Of course I will come on here to read how busy you all are!0 -

Would they be able to travel to Newcastle ? There's a couple of people that I know of there who may be able to help.
Thanks Shirley, I will ask them this week ( I see them on a Thursday as they run a group for disabled swimmers) but I would pressume so as the next people who'd offered live in Scotland  which is much further away. Will also check how many there is left, will ask about rehoming also.
sexymouse, still as prickly at first but he takes a lot less longer to calm down, getting there with him I think. I'll try to take piccy tonight.
Well flying is on hold because of assignment, but just while pottering about this morning I have managed to pack a box of kitchen stuff, thinking what will I need for now and what I can wait for, the things I have left out mainly will be parting with anyway, things like plastic mixing bowls etc I should have probably parted with ages ago but will do for now so I can pack the glass ones. Once the sums were done last night I can afford to replace some things I want new anyway like a dinner service (will need extra with having a dishwasher most likely) as I also want smaller plates, mine are huge and I have the tendancy to make bigger portions because of that. New kitchen bin also on the list, will do a proper list at some point today, I like new thingsSo much nicer being able to pack without rushing, every other time we've moved it has been done within 24 hours, time to clear that clutter!
I've told my neighbours (the nice ones) about the move, don't think they are very happy but understand why. They of course will be concerned as to who they get in the house next as the house joins on.
Luckily tonight there is no racing on at the club DP runs as there is a function on, which I am relieved about as gives us more time to get this assignment done, plus no dashing about tonight.
My list for today
Dailies
Pack one box and fling one box/bag (daily mission at the minute) done a kitchen box, got half full one of fling stuff
See what is in underbench freezer which I need to freecycle/fling
Assignment, try to get as much as possible done, has to be entered online tomorrow!
Some flying in living room, filing especially the post which has come in lately needs sortingOne day I might be more organised...........

Just want to pass by and say Hi again. I am still here and sussing out how things work here. I have been following fly lady via her own site and so am adjusting to how you do it here and I'd like to join in with you.
I take it that you change the zone each day rather than each week, am I right?
I have also had an unusual couple of days with people coming and going at unusual times and I start a new job this evening which is a night shift. I will be doing 2 nights a week and this is my first job since having kids, 10 years ago now! May take me a little time to adjust to this new 'routine' and so may be quiet or silent while I feel my feet.
It's nice to read about what you are all up to although I do need to skim through as not to get 'sidetracked'. I hope however to get to know you all soon and you me too.
Hope you all have a good day today.

I'm really excited for you lil_me
so pleased it is all working out. Good news on the CMA as well, when do you get the results on the assignment you handed in last week?
Well I steeled myself to make the phone call only to be told no one was in today who could help. Details left again for a call back tomorrow while the kids are at school.
Need to go and get a coffee now and try to calm down a bit, anyone else joining me?Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Yes please - will go nicely with my brekkie that I still haven't had yet. Must stop getting side-tracked and stop refreshing every 5mins.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

AnW'sMum - Won't get the results until February, which seems completely unfair really, it's because it is the final assignment. Cuppa is a great idea, might see if the smell of coffee wakes DP, who is being a spoil sport as I wanted to get the keys on Saturday, I understand why he's said no but now I am a tad miffed as I am impatient! One day I might be more organised...........
