Well new car is here, as a celebration of all the good news DPs Dad took us out for dinner (helped that we could take them and the kids in the car as they'd had a couple) kids seem to have worn off the idea of sitting in the boot and one in middle one in boot on way home :rotfl: DS1 of course likes the quiet space in the back to himself.
Haven't driven the car yet however, I will once DP and DSs not in it, too nervous with a new car to do so with them in! DP because of his job can switch from one car to another and has driven these before but I am much less confident. Funny moment as we left, didn't mention the 4x4 was in rear wheel drive, pressumed he would look, sales rep reversed putting his foot down (in wet with 4.0 engine) and slid across the car park :rotfl: ooops. Every rose does have a thorn however, car will be going back next week, DP insisted they replaced the rear light cluster which they have, with the wrong one, one side now has a clear indicator, other is orange, so going back next week when they get the new one.
Started OU CMA, done 5 answers from 30 and left it at that for tonight. Pace myself a bit as the eyes are just seeing muddled numbers now.
As far as writing aids etc go pigpen, try ebay, I got pen grips and lefty stuff for my DSs cheap from there
Sexymouse - Sonic is just a house pet as he needs the warm (he's African you see) but we can get him a run to play out in in the summer. He's getting bigger and changing colour, will take some piccys next time he's out.
embb - Asda anything goes, I've took DS1 in PJs (when he refused to wear clothes) as Dotman (Tweenie fans will know this one) Nephew has been as spiderman and I've even been with my PJs on under my coat (trousers just looked like joggers) so anything goes
The way you see some 'normal' people dressed these days I wouldn't be bothered about a 'different' hair do.
Rach I think 1lb is good with the holiday etc, like the Onya bags, I got a bag which folds into something similar to a purse from the £1 shop and it comes in VERY handy.
Oh I had a little hissy fit earlier, I felt a tickling on my right breast, looked down and wasn't DPs hand, was a HUGE spider. Well I screamed like a sissy, shaking it off and stamping my feet. The 'brave spider' as DP called it (said could be lost forever between mine) legged it under the sofa, so I keep shaking my legs. Making me shudder thinking of it.One day I might be more organised...........

couldn't get the page to work Shirley, just wondered do you know if there are any national rat society type pages ? Reason I ask is the ones I have been asked to look after we can not due to moving, so they need a temp home for 3 weeks, the current person with them lives in Durham has basically had them 'left with her' by her daughter when she went to travel the world, they were hoping to rehome all of them (was many more) but these ones are older I think so haven't managed to rehome them. So basically looking for someone to help out while they are away on holiday.
Listed something else on freecycle, will clear this clutter! One day I might be more organised...........

Took little people to soft play today, had to wait to get in  anyway they had a great time and I picked up tickets for a halloween party there - we were inundated with trick or treaters at our last place and have none here!
Michelle - glad to hear your lo is feeling better - I don't know if you tried this but sometimes when they are snuffly if you put a towel under the matress it helps a little... and trust me to think of it when he is better

Morning all
Hope everyone's ok and all the LOs have recovered from falls and illnesses.
I'm in school today until DS finishes at 1pm so I shan't be getting too much done as I'm then at work this evening.
Might make a start now although I'm not really awake - going to do lunches for me and DD then do the dishes which DH kindly left me to do last night!
Catch you all later
