Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Back from school with DD who is now wide awake :mad: Anyways, she's currently decorating an A4 notebook (from my stationary stash :o ) to make a "Secrets Book" to write things down in, kind of like a diary. She's got loads of questions and is worried about alot of stuff but she tells us one thing and that leads to a barrage of questions while we're trying to put her mind at ease  Last night it took me over an hour to reassure her that OH wasn't about to move out while she was at school as she kept asking me questions! We've all agreed that she can leave it out for us to read so she doesn't have to tell us things. ;) It will also give us a chance to discuss what she should and shouldn't know since she's only 6.

Went to the hairdressers to enquire how much it will cost to have my hair lightened & restyled, forgot it was Monday and they're shut :o:rolleyes::rotfl:So I popped to Co-op instead and picked up some deals for lunches this week ;)

Should really get on with my list, but I need to bath & feed DD before OH comes in so she can have an early night ;)

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clean floors
    Level Two
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
    Level Three
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
    Extra Mission

    Choose one or more of:
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Clear and wipe the tops of the wall units!!
    • Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
    • [strike]30 minutes ironing. - No ironing to do as I didn't do any laundry with being away[/strike] Still no ironing as I haven't done any clothes washing :rotfl::p
    Deep Clean Challenge
Get in that cupboard under the sink and fling everything you don't use.. if it hasn't been used in the last 6 months you don't need it.. fling it!! Give it a GOOD scrub out before replacing the things you do use and need to keep. Feel free to get carried away and do more cupboards!!!

    Personal list :
    • Dailies
    • [strike]Beds[/strike]
    • [strike]Bathroom S&S[/strike]
    • Laundry - trip to the laundrette as well? 1 done for now. Others can wait.
    • Evening meal - just for OH and I as DD is having a stupidly early night (after her bath) as she couldn't get out of bed this morning  Fish Chips & mushy peas
    • Packed Lunches
    • [strike]Baking or trip to Co-op/bit shop - Co-op I think[/strike]
    • [strike]Unpack everything and put "trip" stuff away - just my toiletries to go...I think[/strike]
    • Food inventory so I can see what we have as I have no idea :o
    • Update money - well I was going to but OH has taken his bank log in stuff with him to work  Must be paying bills
    • Declutter kitchen - I'm aiming for 5 items OUT that we don't use. ;)
Right, kitchen S&S while DD finishes with her stickers ;) I'll leave lunches and stuff until later :shhh:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Lil-me: great news about the house! I love the red kitchen..

All this talk of nakedness :o :rotfl: Nicely dressed for me, thanks

So much for flying. Did Asda shopping, cooked chicken casserole, some washing, tidying, was just about to hoover and mop floor when the phone went. DD2 was hit in the side of her head with a hockey stick, she was dizzy and feeling sick, can I come and get her?? Been to doctors, said to keep her calm and take her to A&E if she starts throwing up and gets confused or very drowsy  She has a nice bruise on her temple.

    So, still to do:

kitchen, will do after dishes after tea.
Hoover and tidy and mop floor
under sink cupboard, shouldn't take me long, did it a few weeks ago.

Better go, kids are raiding the cupboards because I have been shopping and have found the choccie biscuits...

    :grouphug:

Dinner on, roast chicken (cut up so it only takes 30-45mins) and baby pots.

It's starting to look wow. Tonight I will iron the tiny pile, finish the kitchen and (oh god) make a start on our bedroom, I should post a pic to shame myself. Its filthy, minging, smelly, dusty, filthy, disgraceful. In fact, I'm away to take a pic.
