Afternoon, thanks for all the messages, don't know what I would have done these last few weeks without your support so it's great being able to share the nicer times. I've been a little daring and have put the notice in here, basically they need 4 weeks notice, because it works from the Monday it still means I have 5 weeks left here so thought was best to pay less rent on 2 (if I wait until we sign other tenancy adds another week, another £70 + council tax), just pray nothing goes belly up from here in.
I've managed to rehome my shed (were not keeping anyway) via freecycle to a friend who lives near me now, which saves DP dismantling alone. He'll be happy about that. It's about 12 ft square.
Car is now ready, downside is DP at physio, kids need collecting from school/meeting off bus so he's going to his Grandmas from there to wait and I'll pick him up on way to garage (car in his name or I'd have gone and got it now!!)
All go here isn't it, I feel like I'm on one huge adrenalin rush :rotfl:
I also have the pleasure of informing you that the lovely Pigpen (slave driver to some) if willing will need to look after you all for another 5 weeks or so for me.
**Edit just had a panic, phone call and was estate agents, I thought something had happened bad, no they were offering for us to sign contract Saturday instead of Monday. I have turned that down because DP is at work Saturday then away collecting his Mam on Sunday, so seems pointless, waiting for him to call to double check however as he might say ok**One day I might be more organised...........

Why does it always look worse when you start to deep clean it?

Do I get extra points for setting in about the edges of the lamenite and edging with a toothbrush and now its all brand new looking?

Hehehehehe pigpen, I've done that before, whatever possessed me to let a mortal drunk OH give me a baldy I'll never know......oh yes I know, I was mortal too. Don't like it when it starts to grow back though...ouch! If I'd slid down a banister I'd have taken a layer of paint off
I had that cuppa........not done nowt else though, OH turned up then DD so been having a chat. Gonna have to start sanding after tea now as I can't cook in a mess like that, the stuff gets everywhere.0 -
embb.. I rather like it naked.. lol.. we were pretty much in the same condition.. except I remember it and he doesn't!!!
Collected grubs from school.. got hubby some new specs.. Prada ones of course.. fortunately we had a 10% voucher so didn't have to pay full whack so that was one bonus.
the loan has been approved and will be in our account in a couple of days.. bye-bye high interest rated credit cards and loan and storecards..:D:D:D.
NOW I have to prove to myself I CAN get this infernal new loan paid off ASAP .. don't have to pay anything until april though which is really good, means I can sort christmas and the childrens birthdays without worry about it or adding it to a newly paid off credit card!!
Let's see just how much I can get away with on the balances... what a challenge.. I am hoping to save £1500 on what we owe (10% of what I am paying off) whic will pay off another couple of debts or pay for christmas.. I have a £2000 budget for hubby, 8 children, 2 sisters & stepdad.. anything left over and I'll sort my other siblings.
Back to my flying list.. the kitchen has crumbs!!
Oh.. we had a mouse for about 10 minutes this afternoon.. in it scarpered.. squeaked and the cats ate it!! I love my catsLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
pigpen, I did see that, and commented a bit too. Talk brings you out in a rash and you never wear lacy knickers.
I do like being naked too, much more fun as Hubby LOVES it being naked, if you get my drift. Only thing is I'm way too shy to go for a smear now! between that and the phobia after getting a coil put in was very painful... ANYWAY!
Coffee time. ahh.... coffee and grapes, my fave.0 -
embb, pigpen - we do that too! Well - did, until I got downhill ill - made for very relaxing foreplay. Might have to reinstigate soon!Is it home time yet?0

Little faith I know, maybe today is my lucky day, they don't do lottery on a Monday do they :rotfl: saying that I did get SOAKED collecting DS2 from school! Speaking of which here is DS1 now, time to go and get my new car! Both kids want to sit in the bootOne day I might be more organised...........
