Free Unlock codes for Nokia Phones 7 (U.K. Networks Only)

Tried the code and got CODE ERROR

Looks like I'll be visiting a shop to get it unlocked.

Hi,

My father in law has been given a Nokia 6300 that is locked to the Virgin network. His SIM card is with T Mobile so it obviously does not work when we try.

Does anyone know the code needed to unblock this or where I can find it? I have tried searching the threads but am struggling to follow the instructions listed.

Is it possible to unlock this myself without taking it to a shop?

if it's been on virgin and the previous owner had spent more than £30 on top ups then they can get the code for you

no free codes for the 6300 at this time

you can take this to a shop and they should be able to unlock it, providing they have a nokia bb5 unlock box

Thanks a lot for these. But I must still be doing something wrong. It's for my Dad's phone which is why there was a delay in coming back to you. When I type in these numbers I get that the code isn't valid.

This is what I'm doing - perhaps this is the problem:
Turn off Dad's phone (Virgin pay as you go Nokia 1100), take out SIM, put in my Orange SIM - turn on.
Get SIM Invalid message - type in unlock code - code not valid

Again, sorry for being so stupid - it was a piece of cake when I unlocked my phone Nokia 6230i - a few years ago
Any suggestions?
