  • Well done...it helps doesn't it when the debt drops into the next thousand if you see what I mean.

  • The party was manic, but they all had fun and one of the mums stayed, we are pretty friendly but haven't met up on months so was nice to have a catch up, planning on meeting up more often.

Today my mum took the birthday boy to spend his vouchers and after a lazy afternoon we all went out to pizza hut for tea. It was what the birthday boy wanted but more than had planned so need to do some shifting around in the budgets.

Anyway off to battle the Wierd one and the Wild one into bed :p

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Just realised that I made my £300 overpayment to loan 1, and that takes me to below 3k to pay back on that one and below 18k on my total  we owed 22k at the beginning of October, can't believe it! Over 4k off, obviously £550 a month is normal monthly payments and the interest is low on all of them (all below 4%) but should have paid off the first one by July, a year early. :T

    Well done!!:T:T

  • Omg spendy day today  went to IKEA with a friend and went slightly over budget :p but everything is needed, and nothing frivolous was purchased. I picked up a trolley for my kitchen, I have been after one for nearly a year, they had a new one that ticked all the boxs, I had rejected all the others they have at one point or another during all my other trips in the past 11 months, so I couldn't not get it. And it was by far the cheapest at £18, the other one that sort of worked was £100

So still waiting to be paid from job 2, expecting that tomorrow, so £200 to holiday savings and the rest to cover my IKEA bill :rotfl: very skint few weeks coming up, but I didn't pay for any of it on the credit card, so baby steps right?

  • Got to love some emoji's :rotfl: it's the Wierd ones obsession atm, emoji cushions galore!

Pay went in today, so all allocated. The Girl has a trip at school, £50, but have an overtime shift on sat so should be able to manage it.

Anyway on a break at work, best get back to it, home in an hour and then relax class with the Boy, may get to sit down and eat about 9pm :( then I need to do the ironing. Never seems to end atm......

But two new jobs tomorrow in job 2 after a visit to the chiropractor, so extra money for next month. :D

  • Go you. Really impressed with your work ethic.
  • So today has been an awful day. Chiropractor was running 15mins late which is very rare, so I was late to meet the first client, then it took 15mins to show me the job which meant I was half an hour late to start it. Had a knock on effect on the day so I was acting catch up. And the second job was also a new client and I was rushing and think I forgot something, not a good first impression :(

Went to collect the Wierd on and the Wild one from school and the Wild ones teacher had to speak to me about his behaviour AGAIN. We have had a few meetings already (he is in yr R and really not coping at all, but throwing things and hitting other kids isn't acceptable at all) and she has always been calm and professional, but for the first time the mask slipped and i could see how upset she was, just wanted to buy her wine :rotfl: but it is also getting me down, he is such a loving little boy and I am so worried that he is being branded the naughty kid and that's such a hard title to lose.

Came home and did the ironing, shopping delivery was late which was annoying as I was waiting on an ingredient for tea, and then the driver missed a tote but I didn't realise until after tea, so rang and they made him come back and deliver it, felt sorry for him, we live next door to a huge super market I can pick up stuff (just like the ease of delivery and dislike the car park).

    Still have my cold too.

Cheered myself up by raving about YNAB to friends on Facebook.

Three hour job covering the boss in job 2, then 8hours in job 1 tomorrow. Roll on Sunday and my day off!

Bless you hon, that sounds like a really bad day. So sorry.

What do you think is making your son act out at school? You are right when you say that about labels. I had some trouble with my DS in Year 2 and the teacher actually said that to me, that once the kids get used to hearing a child get in trouble they try and blame everything on them. Which is tough.
