Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Sounds like a fair bit of extra hours being done this week already. Hope it all helps with debt slaying. Hope you come up with some great birthday ideas for DS2.

Quiet couple of days, just working. The next four days will be no spend days as I have nothing left! So I didn't get to grips with no spend days at all in January, but this month I will be trying to do at least 10. Wish me luck

  • You can do it!!

Batten down the hatches. Use everything you can find in the fridge, freezer and cupboards. And for me, when I'm bored - I clean. Saves me spending and it's productive.
  • Speky my second job is cleaning so I try to avoid too much of it at home :rotfl:

So today was a no spend day, but two hours on job 2. Also someone is on holiday in job 1 on Monday so it looks like I may get a few hours overtime there.

Tomorrow the Boy has dancing at 9 for an hour, then swimming at midday. So I will try and get up earlyish and commence painting, well that's the plan anyway :rotfl:

    They certainly do Bob!

So Nsd number 2 yesterday, the Boy enjoyed the swimming lesson, and can actually swim more than I thought so looks like he may go up a class pretty quickly.

Today will be a Nsd I did pick up a pint of milk this morning, but used the coppers in the jar so off budget. Am off to b&q in a bit for more tester pots (still not agreeing on colour!) But I have a gift voucher so again off budget and am not classic it as a 'spend'.

On a plus, painting commenced yesterday, so that was a relief. Going to finish it tomorrow morning when the kids are in school as no overtime now.

    I hope so boxofpaws.

Had a yummy gammon joint for tea, cooked into he slow cooker. Have got to battle ds2&3 (the wierd one and the wild one:rotfl:) into the bath in a bit.

Three more tester pots bought and we may have agreed on one. I also had a walk round Dunhelm Mill looking at curtains, but I just couldn't find exactly what I wanted, I am obviously hard to please! No rush on curtains, but the ones we have were hand made by my mum for our old flat which had a massive window so they are way too big for the window they are on now. They were put up in 2009 as a 'stopgap' and are still there now. I would like to actually have one room in this house finished :rotfl:

Boss 2 has been texting, so possible new job through her, which is good if it pans out another £60 a month, getting closer to £400 a month though job 2.

Anyway hoping for a quiet day tomorrow, painting in the morning and 1-30-7.30 shift in job 1. Oh will be up watching the Superbowl tonight, so he will be sleeping in tomorrow.

Ha ha isn't it crazy how the years go by when you are trying to get a house done. We've been in ours here for 5 years and still lots to sort.

Lol Bob it certainly does!!! Just done two hours for job 2, had some lunch and now just about to leave for shift at job 1. Also possibility of a bit of private work through a friend (related to job 2, but not through the boss so more take home pay) so will see how that pans out.
