I would rather wait a few days to have something delivered than pressurised working practices for the poor people who work there.
It's Amazon, not some flustered girl working alone in a shop. With a company the size of Amazon there is no link between delivery timescales and how pressured the working practices of their staff are.0 -

I take it you've never seen the working environment in an Amazon warehouse then.
I don't think ThumbRemote is saying that the Amazon warehouse workers are not under a high degree of pressure, but that it is not the actions of individuals that cause delays in delivery, rather it's company policy.0 -

Rubbish
A driver has 1000 parcels to deliver he has delivered 900 in a 10 hour shift and in order to deliver the 100 he has left, it would mean working extra hours unpaid, would you expect the Amazon delivery driver to do this so that the buyer gets there order on time? a simple yes or no will do.0 -

You can't just make up situations to prove a point. Show me proof that a delivery driver would be unpaid if he works extra hours?. Most delivery drivers are paid per parcel delivered.0 -

I certainly can. Anyway I am not going to argue. Point is people have no patience these days and are too quick to complain.0 -

I asusme the word 'Rubbish' was meant as a short synopsis of your post to follow. The thread is about despatch times from the warehouse, not the time it takes with the delivery driver.0 -

Sorry Thumbremote I wish you all the best and good health but I am afraid I have decided to not respond to anything you say to me directly, I accept you will do the same.0 -

Am I the only one to see the irony of this post?0
