Amazon slow dispatch.

    I've given up on Amazon thanks to their slow delivery policy. They never used to be that bad but I guess they are trying to force people to use Prime. There are plenty of other retailers who offer free next day delivery so avoiding Amazon isn't a huge problem.

    Here's a trick, order as normal with Amazon when they haven't dispatched it by the following day log on and go to cancel your order, you will then get an immediate e-mail saying the item can't be cancelled as it's been dispatched and straight after you will get a item dispatched e-mail.


    Since I've done the above my orders are now dispatched within 24 hours and I get them the following day

    Rubbish. I've cancelled several items whilst they are at preparing for dispatch status. Do you really think they're going to suddenly prioritise someone that wants to cancel, in the knowledge that they (Amazon) will then have to pay for the return?

    Well it's worked for me, maybe they look on me as a decent customer unlike you !!!!!

    I was only thinking that the other day.

    I would rather wait a few days to have something delivered than pressurised working practices for the poor people who work there.

    I was actually thinking more of the offers on the back of a box of Cornflakes and on Bazooka Joes :)

    This is the problem with today's society, they do not think of the human beings that are under paid and over worked preparing orders for people that ONLY shop online.

    Once they have finished ranting at the seller they will then turn there attention to the postal worker or delivery company when there order is 10 minutes late to arrive.

    People that continually whinge and moan should be deprived from receiving any sort of customer service and instead put to the bottom of the pile.
