Hi & Hugs Everyone,
So far I've fed myself, DD and animals, had a shower. Washed one load and hung it out another load is in.
For the rest of today I'm off to church in few minutes then I'm popping to the shop for the rest of the ingredients for Twinks, and for a walnut cake.
The walnut cake is for my mum it's her birthday tomorrow and she promised a cake for her childminding group only problem is that she's missing the baking gene.
I'm also planning not to use the car today, so will walk about 5 miles in total . (I'm on a get fit kick at the moment).
OH at work until 2pm, he had an early start as well 4am instead of 6am.
I've spoken to the oracle that is my mum and she's going to help me prepare an order for the butcher - bad me usually buy supermarket meat.
DD is fast asleep on her playmat :shhh:, shame I have to wake her to put her coat on,she's a good girl though doesn't get grumpy, she'll probably fall asleep again when we're walking.
We're having Roast Lamb and trimmings for tea tonight.
MDWProud to be dealing with my debts

Morning all
Good to see you back TM I know its tough for you at the moment but as you say light at the end of the tunnel. Keep strong and keep posting to p*ss him off!!
Well I will be needing to follow closely the OS tips that involve money saving in the next few weeks after having signed up for a new kitchen yesterday.
   Scary money
Cant wait though i hate my current kitchen with a passion now and I really want it to be a room I enjoy being in. Going to start filling the freezer with one portion stuff that I can throw in the microwave whilst they are fitting it (it starts in 4 weeks:eek: ) may be landing on lots of peoples doors around dinner time for a couple of weeks:D
Today I am planning to be fairly lazy but i do have Everest to get through ironing wise but one thing I wont be doing is cleaning the kitchen:T it can stay manky now till it hits the skip:rotfl:
No idea on food may see anyone fancies a carvery - start getting used to this eating anywhere but in my own house lark.
Have a great day all

morning all,
beautiful day here , bright and windy, got bedding in the wm, which will be hung out once done, dw needs emptying, then its a quick tidy round, then off out walking for the day, DD is off out with her dad, which means we can walk much further, I will make up some egg mayo sandwiches in a mo, when we get about halfway round the walk 6-8 miles, we find a nice spot and stop for a picnic, I have a small boarder terrier who loves walking and you just cannot wear her out, we have done 20 miles before and she would go straight out again after
Roast pork for tea, will out it in the oven on a low before we go out, get veggies and pots done before as well, then will just have to cook then once we get back.
Deidre hope you are ok, hugs to you.
Hugs to all

Morning for the second time!!! I wnet back to bed about 3.30 and OH woke me getting out of bed at 7.55 to go to the loo. Got up and made him bacon rolls for his brekkie and he has just gone off to his bowls finals, will be out until around 3pm I think.
Roast leg of lamb for supper tonight, will do the veg later, also need to nip down to the laundry and put a load of towels in, will then go and see my friend Em, I made a jelly roll for the bottom of her front door, there is a hell of a draught comes in under it.
Nothing planned for today, just taking it easy.....tomorrow we have a tenants forum at the Sheltered Housing Offices, food provided, and Taxi's can't be bad!!! So no lunch needed tomorrow, and cold lamb for supper.
Offski to put my towels in..................Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Good Morning folks! Quick look through shows that loads of ((((HUGS)))) are needed - please help yourselves.
Visited Mum yesterday, horrid shock - last week despite loss of movement in left side she was able to chat, although drowsy. Yesterday we couldn't rouse her at all. Asked doctor to look and he decided to check her out immediately for infection and put her on oxygen- she's now on antibiotics. Bit worrying that relatives have to tell staff there's been a change....
Back to Week 1 of the four week menu now, so roast chicken to put on later. Bedding and towels blowing on the line, need to put the clean sheets on and then tackle the ironing. Not too bad, but haven't got to it this week.
have a good day folks if you can.Resolution:

Morning all,
Being a lazy panda at the moment, still to hit the shower and not evenn thought about getting dressed!
Need that 2 and 3rd cups of coffee yet....
Had thooughts of making a roast today as the last one I did was prior to our holiday, been home a month! But eldest son is away playing in the band and will have to leave early ish (5/6) and I can't be fazzled to do it by 4pm! I like my roast at 7---8pm with a evening glass of wine.
The ironing pile needs attention so do most of the rooms in the house tbh! I'll do whats necassary and put the rest on my to do listing system!
So I need thoughts on a simple but filling tea! .......???
Love to all who haven't been told that todayPanda xx

Goog morning everyone! Been out in the garden since early, and just come in to listen to The Archers repeat. DH has nearly finished my trellis (though some will have to wait as the wood mearchant didn't deliver enough wood   ). I've been digging leaf mould and compost to fill the borders (it was grassed, previously, so there's quite a gap to fill). I rehomed a family of toads, and we were joined by a woodpecker in one of the trees. We're going to the nursery, soon, to buy bulbs and a clematis to plant in there.
Had a great concert last night. We started with Parry's I Was Glad, which is really rousing, and always puts me in mind of a BGWe followed with some spirituals, Mozart, Lloyd Webber, amonmgst others. The venue had arranged an interval of scones and tea - my friends and I agreed that we'd rather have sung through, and headed for the pub sooner
Had an even better time in the pub, but missed the shenanigans on the Daily  I need to read it in more detail, but will agree with putting Haribo up for adoption
Today's Observer has a supplement with extracts from Nigel Stater's new book, Eating for England. Really funny :rotfl: There's also a recipe for rice pudding with damson compote. Will be trying that later in the week.
A friend came over with a carrier bag for us. As he left, DH thanked him for the egg boxes. The look of disappointment on DS's face, when we explained that he'd misheard - not an X-box :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Donny gal - the TV listings today show that repeats of Who do you think you are? start on Friday at 12:55am (ie, they're on Thursday's listing IYSWIM). I'll PM you later, in case you don't see this.
Have a great Sunday!

Good Morning All
Been awake ages!
OH & DS are doing a car boot. DS has made more money than OH, by selling his army toys/figure's. He said he wants to put that towards his France school trip!
Just Cleaned the downstairs loo, and the bathroom, got to sweep & mop hall & kitchen. OH can hoover & polish when he gets back! He put another door up yesterday! So thats another one to bri-wax!
WM on, got 2 more loads to get done!
Listed more items on ebay yesterday, but Im annoyed that someone made an offer on one of my items, I accepted, ended the auction, then they sent a message saying they no longer want it! Im awaiting for a response from the ebay thread for advise!
Its come over dark, just hope the weather holds until car boot finishes!
Roast Pork for dinner, and if I have time, will make some Twink's hobnobs. NOt made any for ages! Can I remember how to do them?
Anyway, best be off, and get cracking on with HW.
Bye for now
