no where on google maps do I see signage that says to register your VRN as per the official statement on the website "Failure to comply with the terms & conditions will result in a Parking Charge of £100. Please check the signage in the car parks for further information."
I fear you have ridiculed the health cenre (justifiably) and you will now recieve no replies from them
Well we shall see what happens over the next few days. The manager returns tomorrow and will have a lot of reading to to0 -
The health centre, and those responsible for taking on parking eye need more than ridiculing, are they aware of this thread?
If i was in the area or a patient at the centre, i would be tempted to print out the NHS guidance on parking and post it on any/every notice board, together with the parking prankster blog post to leave in the surgery amongst the magazines/reading material
They are aware of this thread yes, I emailed the manager the link aswell as informed her that the surgery made national press. I forwarded the link from the local post today too.
I may just do what you just suggested!! It's only right that patients are made more aware. The manager claims they have led complaints regarding PE now that people are aware of them, but that suggests that they only know because they were fined also!!!0 -
and according to the stupid woman "PE have taken people to court on our land"Save a Rachael

And inn an ideal world the stupid woman and the rest of them would/should face some personal issues, and possible disciplinary action/at risk of being struck off for malpractice.
If the surgery/clinic really wanted to sort things out then they should be more pro active, unplug/obscuring the cameras would be a good start, a bin bag with some tape would do the trick without causing damageFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Does the clinic have a Patient Participation Group (PPG)? If they do, ask for the contact details of the chair or secretary then send them a one page letter/email briefly explaining the problem, and ask for it to be included at the next meeting.
The PPG, (if they have one) will be made up of clinic staff, including medical staff, and patient volunteers. My wife is a volunteer and also the chair of my GP surgery PPG, and they meet regularly to discuss problems at that surgery and every so often meet with other PPGs from around the county.
If your clinic has one they may even be looking for volunteers to join.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -

Quick update:
Heard back from the MP and he is going to contact the surgery and PE. Still heard nothing from the senior manager at the surgery though, I'm guessing I never will either:cool:0 -

Thank you all so much for your help.. the email I received is below
Dear Cassie,
I am delighted to be able to report that we have received the following response from Parking Eye:
"Thank you for your email received in relation to the above Parking Charges incurred at Montpelier Health Centre – Public car park.
As per the terms and conditions detailed on the signage at the above site, all patients must enter their full, correct vehicle registration using the terminal in reception. This permits motorists to 90 minutes of free parking.
On 17 September 2015, your constituent overstayed the 90 minute period, which resulted in the issue of a Parking Charge. On 29 May 2015, Cassies vehicle registration was not correctly entered into the terminal on site, which again resulted in the issue of a Parking Charge.
Unfortunately, ParkingEye did not receive sufficient evidence of the visits made to Montpelier Health Centre and therefore the Parking Charges remained outstanding. We would like to highlight that this was made clear in ParkingEye’s statement to the Sunday Mirror.
We can confirm that both of the Charges issued to your constituent, Cassie, have now been cancelled and that confirmation has been issued in writing.
Yours sincerely,
ParkingEye Team"
The response confirms that both of the parking charges have been cancelled and you will receive confirmation of this in writing.
I hope that this matter has now been resolved but please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance.
Yours sincerely
