Ok pennypuppy lets say you walked into a Littlewoods store with a £25 off voucher that your friend gave you to use, you buy a coat £40, you hand the £25 voucher over along with your £15 payment, and they accept. Nearly three months later you get a knock on the door saying that you owe them the £25 because they have just realised you weren’t eligible for the voucher after all!
So you would just hand the money over, no questions asked??0 -
I've never had a problem with Littlewoods and I've been with them about 20 years. Even when I've queried something its been sorted out on the phone but things might have changed now most of the catalogues have merged into one.
I would say though that I would be wary of taking action against Littlewoods unless you can afford to lose as sometimes it is better to just pay up and get it over with especially if you used vouchers you really shouldnt have and have been found out.
Some of you are already saying its affecting your credit rating and more charges are being added so what is the point in fighting battle you have a good chance of not winning.
Some you win some you dont.........

I've closed my account now so no point signing up.
My case was slightly different though, the item I ordered was out of stock so the credit was sitting on my account. It's now been cancelled whilst I was awaiting more stock.0 -
I think I might have used this code on a mattress purchase (£250)...
I genuinely was a new customer and had never used them before.
I've not had a letter from them, does that mean that I am ok?0 -
Maybe they let it go for you, cos you spent a lot on the order.0

Result!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just got the mis-representation letter which I think they are sending out to everyone.
I argued a bit then said. Fine you have changed the terms so I want to return my goods.
She said that is fine. We have been advised that we can accept returns against this code
So I am sending the stuff back and don't have to pay.August Make £10 per day £0/£310Credit Card Debt Paid Off £42/2952.680 -
So can you return the item even if its used and can not be resold?
Seems pointless for them to me.0 -
Luckily I have not opened them yet as they were accessories for an XBOX.
But she said there was a note on the system to accept returns so worth a try.
