Well I for one am happy to boycott Littlewoods and any other associated catalogues.Without the codes they are vastly overpriced and wouldnt have received all the orders they have. They exploit the poorest in society who are daft enough to buy from them instead of saving.
I dont for one minute knowing retail mark up believe Littlewoods have made a loss.Even with codes they still reap profit in.I think this will discourage alot of people from using them and hopefully be there demise which serves them right for their greed.
They are still trying to charge me for a phone they never delivered the only thing I have ever orderd from them.Farcical.0 -
I think in the interim personally that all littlewoods associated catalogue codes would be best removed from mse to avoid further mishaps.0

I disagree, people now know the risks and its up to them if they want to gamble, its not as if the codes aren't freely available elsewhere0

I emailed the BBC on their webform just now stating my views. It does seem highly suspicious that Littlewoods did not notice all these vouchers being used until AFTER 28 days, when it was too late to return the goods, dont you think?0

Littlewoods, Littlewoods direct, Marshall Ward, Great Universal (GUS), , Kays, Choice, Bargain Crazy, Additions Direct (previously known as Argos Additions) not sure about Argos as there must be a conection as Additions used to be Argos Additions.0

it will just end up costing you more then 25 quid if you dont pay, littlewoods apply 12 admin charges if you dont make your monthly payment and will do so if you dont pay the 25 quid. they have every right to charge the 25 pound back as it was misused. simple as that.0

I'm not really sure what to do with my situation.
In the last 2 months I've used a '£25 discount on your 1st order' code with Kays, GU & MW. The thing is that although I got the codes off here I genuinely was a 1st time buyer & after placing the items in my basket & going to checkout I had to register my details, so have I used the codes illegally even though they were used for the correct reason?
I bought from Kays/MW using my Credit Card so can they demand the outstanding amount even if I've paid instantly?
With GU I had a code which only allowed you to use it if u were a 1st time buyer & opened an account (which I did) but as soon as I received my 1st statement I paid up fully over the phone, so will I get penalised at some point down the line?
This is worrying me a little as Xmas is around the corner & I dont really want to have to pay back all this money.0 -
if they have been doing this for years it appears to be more of a scam. Do they lie in wait and see if further orders are produced from the same customer? I would imagine that they only penalise(or rob) only those customers without further orders. Maybe those affected should write to BBCs money programs such as 'The Money Program', 'You and Yours' or even watchdog.Moneysaving Expert do not reply to requests regarding deleting membership.
