It's fab isn't it? I've printed off an excel sheet after making the squares smaller and printing the gridlines.  Their squares are worth £25 but I think I'll make mine £50 or I'll need loads of sheets!

That is a great way of tracking debt repayment.  Is it worth breaking down the balance of the CC as to what you spent on it?  I think crunchy does that so if you used the card for holidays or furniture/christmas or overspending? Glad you and Mr M have made up.  Difficult atmosphere in circumstances like this where we cannot escape our partners.

I don't think I could do that as my debt is so old and like many others has built up from previous money transfers to keep clearing that elusive overdraft and just general overspending from not having a proper budget in place. 😔

So I think for the near future; most of my updates will just consist of "checked and updated ynab" 😂

I did the above this morning.  No DD's out of the account today and just a couple of items that were pending cleared through the bank account so I marked them on ynab.

Family wise, the kids are both poorly. The 11yo has been complaining of headache - no other symptoms but think it could be down to too much screen time.  I've suggested we start doing Just Dance on the switch to give us both some exercise. She could go out and play out the front of the house as we're in a cul de sac but she won't play on her own. Out of the neighbours kids she's the youngest and it seems once the others have started secondary school and gained more freedom they stop playing out.  The 15yo has been feeling a bit off for a couple of days and was sick last night.  He seems a bit brighter this morning.

I took a nytol tablet last night. I'm not a good sleeper at the best of times but recently have really been struggling. It takes me ages to get off to sleep and then I constantly wake every 1-2 hours.  It still took me a while and I still woke twice in the night but feel like I had a much better quality of sleep and feel much more refreshed this morning.

I remembered to post my brothers birthday card yesterday and popped into Sainsburys local to pick up bread and milk.  I'm also really behind on my washing so managed 3 loads yesterday. I tumble dried all the underwear and have hung up the rest.  About to start loading the machine again shortly. Anything not fully dry on the airer will go into the tumble drier for a 20 min finish off. Then I need to start the mammoth task of putting it all away. I hate this part of it.

Hope everyone is keeping safe and well.

Hi, I have been reading and lurking on your diary and just wanted to say re the perimenopause there is a group on FB called The Menopause Support Network,it's a private group run by a lady called Diane Danzebrink ,she is a menopause specialist and is very switched on about it all, there's info on there to show to husbands to explain what's going on, there is also a podcast called The Good, The Bad And The Downright Sweaty that has an episode especially aimed at husbands and partners, I thought you might find them useful 😊
    Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,120

Thank you, I'll check them out. Things are definitely changing and I think my sleep is part of it too.  I do listen to the Older & Wider podcast but isn't necessarily aimed at womens suffering but is more from an older ladies point of view and is hosted by Jenni Eclair who I find very funny growing old disgracefully.

Lack of sleep is the most damaging thing that can happen to you,it affects everything. I might have to check out the podcast you mention it sounds good 😀
