I might be able to get it for free, I'm studying but only have an email telling me when the course starts. I did get my prime for £39 though.
Not done ynab yet. MrM and I walking a tightrope at the moment and I haven't really got the motivation to do anything. Not had a great weekend tbh.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again0 -
Sorry the weekend hasn't been so good.
I don't know much about YNAB so can't help at all with that. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.

Payday. Money has hit the bank account but my payslip isn't on the website we have to use to access them. I'm not sure if my BUPA refund is on there. I'll check again later. Vets are already chasing up their balance but it says I have 14 days to pay so waiting for my Monzo pots to update as there will be another deposit into my vet pot in a couple of days once my standing order for the pots goes out.
House is very tense. It's not about the hot tub. the long and the short of it is. MrM hasn't spoken to me since Wednesday. I've asked him if he wanted to talk and he said no. On Saturday I asked if this was it and he was just going to ignore me and he said that I would prefer it if he wasn't around so he's just keeping out of my way. So when I'm downstairs he'll go upstairs. It's hard going as we don't usually argue and long ago decided that not talking to each other wasn't a good example to set to the kids. I was thinking about it a lot yesterday. We are stuck in a rut, we've been together 23 years, I do the majority of the house stuff, housework, washing, cooking and looking after the finances. I'm 47 and also perimenopausal - have quite a few symptoms. I tried explaining that to him a couple of months ago but I don't think he gets how it makes you feel or not feel in my case. But sometimes I do think I would be better without him here. Financially I'd be f***ed. The credit cards are all in my name despite the debts all being on things for us - holidays, cars etc. I know we need to talk, it's just taking the step as I don't want it to go into a full blown argument as I really don't do confrontation and avoid it all costs.
Ho hum.

sending you hugs xx1

Sorry to hear that, its horrible when there is an atmosphere in the house and can be so draining. I won't give any advice as people's individual relationships are so complicated but will say I hope things improve for you sooner rather than later. XPennies starts again...........2022 - £13,579.221

I've started on the YNAB. I put in my bank balance which is in negative figures at the moment. I think what I need to do is start with a positive balance ie my salary and then treat the overdraft in the debt section. It's all a learning curve.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again0

Another one sending virtual hugs, so sorry to hear about the home situation & hope things improve soon.
Did you email YNAB to see if you qualify for the student edition? In one of my past attempts with it, I was able to get the student edition with my professional course so it is worth asking.1
