Marks & Spencers - a Disgrace

I was involved in an accident at a hotel, and there was a day between the incident and filling in the paperwork. If we'd just gone home, I wouldn't expect the hotel to have chased us.
(And the hotel ended up being very generous in providing a stay and meal for 4 of us, but it is somewhere we've stayed a few times before)
However, the facebook stuff is completely out of order and I'd be tweeting their customer service team asking for escalation.0 -

OP
Do you not have the right of reply to a fake review along the lines of
"why are you leaving a fake review as you are not a customer?"0 -
Thanks for the comments everybody.
I'd guess they/he found my business via my name or more likely from one of the posts/reviews I left on their Facebook page (factual based comments, not made up ones!).
I did take photos of my wife, and I did actually go back into store and filmed for 12 minutes. This was because they claimed that they never left restocking equipment unattended. During my 12 minute video you can see three large stacks of crates over 6ft high, a ladder and two wheel based stocking units, all left unattended for the entirety of the video. Even after I presented this they fobbed me off.
Anyhow, it appears the general consensus is social media which I think is the best course of action. Appreciate all of the input people, thanks.0 -
I bet it wouldn't hurt to mention that these videos could be uploaded to YouTube0

Let us know when you post/tweet them so we can follow what they say.0 -
What is strange is that the bad review appears several months after the accident and that the reviewer is easily identifiable and is thus possibly bringing his employer into disrepute.
I would have thought a M & S HSE manager would not be so crassIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Can you please answer my question OP.
Was the review left by this person on behalf of M&S or was he reviewing in a personal capacity?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0
