  • If it had been put in the accident book. You would have had to sign it. So
    1. They did not follow H & S procedure
    2. You haven't got a leg to stand on as no proof.

its not down to the OP to do that, its the stores responsibility

Its not if the only evidence of an accident is that someone outside is bleeding. Every H&S policy would be on the basis that the accident is reported. A bit like a car accident if you dont report an accident as soon as possible it can make things quite hard work.

Either way it seems the OP is/was happy to settle with being disappointed on that instance they are wondering how best to deal with an employee leaving fake reviews on their website.

Another option that normally yield some kind of results is twitter. Posting something along the lines of 'wondering why an employee of M&S is using company data (your complaint) to find my business and leave negative reviews.' (dont know if thats in the character limit) will probably !!!!! the customer service teams ears up. Plenty of options available to make a point.

Bang on Glentoran99. A company can't simply wipe their hands of an issue because the victim went straight to A&E. Nonsense.

Anyhow, wife is fine now thanks. All we originally wanted was an apology and a guarantee they'd look at their procedures for restocking shelves. Now I want an apology and retraction. Nothing to do with money, if they offered any I'd reject it. Every penny I have has been earned and always will be!

Yep I think it's just worth restating, we aren't pursuing the injury issue. Pointless, as many people have pointed out. It was dead as far as I was concerned until this review issue.

I think the Twitter idea is a good one.

Wrote a complaint letter/email, an email adress or name would easily give the game away. You can find most things out on facebook!
