Hi Sashybo
My emotions were all over the place with my 2nd one, it was a nightmare.
LOL to DH throwing his toys out of the pramHe'll get over it bless him.

Hi Dancing, Beanie & SA. :hello:
Beanie I will update when I catch big cat drinking out of the cat water fountain. I'm quite surprised that old cat was the first to try it but he seems to like it so far. I think big cat knows I'm watching him so won't drink out of it. :rotfl:
Oh SA, I honestly didn't think I'd be such an emotional mess this time as really wasn't that bad with my first pregnancy!
DH is mostly out of his sulk but still thinks he's been forgotten about. :rotfl:
Dancing, yes DS has That's not my puppy/kitten & train. He loved them from quite a young age too.
I brought a book downstairs for DS this morning that he hadn't seen before called Mog & the Baby. He was fascinated by it because it had a cat, a car & a baby in it - all of which are currently his favourite things. He kept bringing it over to me to look at with him.

Another fairly lazy day yesterday, have been feeling really tired this week but not sure if it's because I'm not doing much or because I'm actually tired!
Made sweet & sour chicken last night for dinner, DS loved it, especially the peppers. He also loves rice but I'm a bit rubbish at it, it always goes mushy (obviously over cooking it
).
DH was good & hung the washing out before going to work.
Need to do at least a bit of tidying & hoovering today. Going down to see my mum later to help get some food ready for her birthday tomorrow.
Bought a toddler seat with step for the big toilet a few weeks ago. DS likes to climb the step & look down the toilet but that's about it. :rotfl: Tried sitting him on it this morning so he gets the idea but he was scared of falling off & just clung onto me. Poor boy. Will try just doing that morning & evening to let him get used to it but pretty sure he's not ready to toilet train properly.
He keeps climbing up next to me when I'm on the iPad, finding a magazine or something & "reads" it because he likes sitting at the table like a big boy. :rotfl:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Still not caught big cat using the water fountain! Old cat is loving it though.
Spent yesterday afternoon at my mum's, we made coconut loaf & banana bread and cooked all the frozen sausage rolls so they just need heated up today. Also made mini baked potatoes using new potatoes.
Going to make some fairy cakes shortly to take down later. DH has taken extra seats for the garden down to my mum this morning & is then taking her to get a few things at the shops.
I had an exciting morning yesterday cleaning out my big dyson & the hand held one. :rotfl: They were disgusting, I must admit I usually only clean them once a year.  The filters are still drying but put the rest back together last night.
Cashed out £20 from PA yesterday & another £5 voucher from SB today.
So far today all I've managed is a shower & emptying the dishwasher. Will hang a washing out soon & get on with the cakes, no idea what will fit that I can wear to the party later.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Thanks Beanie, the party was good but exhausting as DS didn't stop the whole time & there were a few tantrums. We had to leave around quarter to 7 as DS was so tired & asking for his cot.
Think my mum had a good but tiring day. She is off on holiday to Orkney now with her friends.
I was working yesterday so feeling a bit tired, back again on Tuesday so a couple of days to recover. Feeding my mum's cats whilst she's away so we'll head down to do that soon.
I finally caught big cat drinking out of the cat fountain! :T So both cats now using it & seem to like it. It doesn't take up much room & easy to take apart to clean & put back together again. I think it's a success. :T
Put the filters back into my hoovers this morning (big & handheld) as they have finally dried. One load of towels washed & in the TD and a dark washing on now, hopefully can hang that out.
Wondering if I should get a book to try & help DS understand about the new baby coming. He loves the mog & the baby book so he would probably be interested in a book about a baby.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Pleased you enjoyed the party.
The book sounds good, we did something similar & got one for DS1 called 'I'm a Big Brother' it was a little Americanised (diapers, etc) but got the point across. Another thing we got was a small baby doll from Asda, only around £4 which DS1 loved, especially when DS2 arrived as we could both look after our babiesHe still has it on his bed now and gives it a kiss when he goes to sleep (can't wait to remind him of this when he's 18 :rotfl::rotfl:) x

Hi Beanie & Dancing.
Yeah I think a book would help him understand a bit more, he has seen scan pictures etc & knows it's "the baby" and obviously has noticed my big pregnant tummy :rotfl: but don't think he really understands yet.
Aww Dancing how sweet about DS1 & his baby doll. DS has a baby doll which he alternately kisses & cuddles or races it around in its buggy & then throws the doll out. He has definitely started to want to "help" around the house more now though (helped me put things in the TD earlier) & think he will enjoy helping with the baby.
Went out to buy a new bolster pillow for bed earlier as the one I had for my first pregnancy is falling to bits. Definitely needed a new one to stop me rolling onto my back constantly. Looking forward to trying my new giant one tonight. :j It cost me £22 so better be good!
Bought some cat toothpaste online & only paid £2 "real" money as had a voucher & got some money off too. :T
My mum text & said she won't be back until late on Saturday now so won't be able to take my DS to my cousin's baby's 1st birthday party. DH won't take him on his own, my mum said to ask my sister but I think she's working so DS might have to miss it.At least he doesn't know about it so won't be disappointed.
