So last night was a write off as DH managed to gouge a big hole in his finger whilst trying to zest a lemon. 🤦🏻‍♀️

We put pressure on it plus 2 lots of dressings but it wouldn’t stop bleeding. He had to go to A&E to get it checked out and bandaged properly. Luckily my SIL was able to take him there & back as he couldn’t drive himself and the kids were in bed.

The cut was deep but there was no skin there to stitch so it’s going to take ages to heal properly.

Feeling very tired today as was 1am before he got back. Kind of ruins our plans to take the kids swimming later this week, I’ll have to take them one at a time on different days. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Need to get a shower and organised for work now. 😵‍💫

Another sale on v!nted so dropped it off on my way to work.

Have spent some time at work ordering a few presents & a card for DH for Father’s Day. Used £20 of survey vouchers so that has paid half. Might get another thing but will see.

Have also been looking at presents for a work 50th as it’s my job on the shift to collect the money & organise the gift. I have ordered a nice glass with engraving, will probably buy a bottle of booze, the card and then any money left over can go in the card. I have already collected enough money for the glass, card & booze. 👍🏻

Is £20 not enough for Fathers day?

Working until midnight tonight, considering taking DD swimming tomorrow morning and DS after nursery the next day.

Need to collect some school uniform I ordered and the new mattress protector too. Unfortunately from different shops, may be able to send DH but not sure if he can drive with the bandage on his middle finger. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Beanie, you’re right to be honest. I bought the thing DH wanted plus another 2 small things & the card.

It is enough, I seem to struggle with stopping when I’m buying presents and think it’s not enough. I know DH will be happy with what I have already ordered.

😂 Thanks Beanie, I will send him to collect at least one of the parcels as the shops are in opposite directions!

I have managed to do quite a lot of housework today - hoovered upstairs, changed the kids' sheets, did the big nappy wash & sheets and hung up, yesterday's washing put away, couches brushed, hoovered and cushions turned, bathroom sinks and toilets cleaned, dishes done and old mattress bagged up for disposal. Also put away the shopping which was delivered.

I spoke to a Dr this morning about my constant exhaustion so am going to have blood taken tomorrow morning for a full panel test just to rule out anything obvious. Also phoned and made an appointment for the next dental check up for me and the kids.

Need to remind DH to call about his own dental check up, he also needs to phone about swimming lessons in case DS needs to go on a waiting list.

I have ordered a couple of things for the work birthday so will take the cash to the bank when I'm back at work and pay it off my card. I will collect one of my parcels after work on Friday. The other I may get later today, DH is insistent that he can't drive 🙄  so I'm stuck doing everything!

I was going to take DD swimming yesterday but she fell asleep in the car so went home again instead. Of course she woke up as soon as I got back. 🤦‍♀️ May go tomorrow but will see how I feel.

Cashed out of PA so have paid the odd amount into christmas savings and will pay £10 off my CC. Waiting on some money coming from v!nted so that will also go off one of the debts.

Got my blood test results the next morning which was fast! Dr says my folate level is low so I need to take folic acid tablets.

Unsure how long for and whether I need to go back to the Dr as spoke to the receptionist and didn’t think to ask. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The low folate explains the extreme tiredness so hoping I will feel better when I start taking the tablets. 🤞

Cashed out on PA again so £10 paid off the big loan.

Took DD to a wee play date at nursery and she absolutely loved it. She was playing with everything and really enjoyed seeing the other kids.

Unfortunately she won’t be starting until November though. We know which key workers she’ll have and she also knows them as she sees them at the gate when we collect DS. 😊

DS caught another bug so had to stay off nursery yesterday! High temp, cough and sick a few times.😢 DH had to deal with it though as I was on early shift at work. 🤭
