Thanks Willow & Beanie, I did manage a relaxing night, even did some bedtime yoga which helped my back a lot. I need to do it more often, it’s just hard to schedule it in sometimes.

Working late shifts yesterday and today and agreed to do an overtime shift tomorrow as well, the extra money will be good. My mum is watching the kids 2 nights at ours and DH is off tomorrow.

Managed 2 lots of washing yesterday which DH hung out and brought in but I still need to put them away. Big nappy wash is on now so hoping to get that hung out as well.

Need to find something to take to work for lunch and dinner, trying my best not to buy anything from the shops.

Also made 2 ginger cakes yesterday and took one into work. Managed to burn the tops which was annoying but they still tasted ok. DH was standing next to the oven and didn’t smell the burning. 🙄🤔

Still feeling tired after working 3 late shifts, it gets me into a bad habit of staying up too late again. Going to try and get to bed earlier tonight.

My mum watched the kids yesterday for a few hours so that I could get some shopping done and then visit my friend who’s not been well and is off work for the forseeable.

Collected an order of a king size duvet for the guest day bed as the single duvet isn’t really big enough, it was only £14 which is quite reasonable. I got king size instead of double as it will save me buying a new duvet cover for it, I can use one so already have.

Went into B&M and got stocked up on snacks for the kids, stock cubes, cleaning stuff, vamoosh washing stuff for the cats blankets and some chocolate for DH & I.

I then had lunch at my friend’s house and a good chat then picked the kids up.

Today I took the kids over to visit their cousins for a couple of hours. It was nice to see them & I think I talked my sister-in-law’s ear off a bit. 🤔🤣 We got home before the rain started which was good.

Managed to get the big nappy wash on and the kids bedding changed before we left the house this morning. Hung the nappies up once home and stuck the bed sheets in to wash.

DD went up for her nap with a bit of protesting, she will be a bit grumpy when she wakes up as didn’t have her lunch first!

Got more survey money through so have put £20 into Christmas savings, £20 off the CC and will give DH £20 to pay off his car loan.

    Thanks Beanie.

DH took the day off work yesterday and we drove down to a beach with the kids. It was a bit overcast but cleared up near the coast. The wind was freezing but we all had jackets and wellies on so it wasn’t so bad. We did walk a bit too far down the beach though and it took ages to walk back for little legs.

A big husky type dog came bounding over to us at one point and went round us all for a pet. 🤣 It particularly liked DD and kept going back to her trying to lick her face as she was just the right height.

Poor DS had a high temperature and barely ate all day. He was desperate to go to the beach so we still took him.

Luckily he didn’t throw up until this morning, obviously it had to be on my side of the bed/my pillow and also wake me up! So that was fun. 😐 Got him sorted and stripped my bed, DH put in to wash then I discovered DS had also been sick in his own bed. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thanks Willow & Dancing, luckily it was mostly bile as he’d hardly eaten yesterday but still not pleasant.

Going to be doing washings all day now as also have the usual washes to get on. Don’t think it will stay dry enough to hang the washing out though.

I’m nipping out for a couple of hours with my mum, going to visit a community larder that costs £1 to join then £2.50 per shop. Will see what it’s like then have a quick lunch somewhere. DH is off work again so he can look after the kids.

Paws 🤣🤣 obviously in the world of having small vomity children bile sick IS lucky. 😂 It’s definitely more pleasant than normal sick. 🤢

The community larder was looking very empty! Didn’t get anything, will try again another day. Had a wander round the town and bought some cleaning stuff then sun lotion for the kids in case we ever get sun again up here.
