Thanks Beanie, hope you enjoyed your gin & Willow hope you enjoyed your cider.

I had a beer which I enjoyed, just nice to relax finally.

Paws, I just laugh away watching Ghosts, there are so many funny bits. Am on series 3 so only have a couple of episodes left. 😭

It’s a lovely sunny day although still cold. Nice & breezy so have hung a washing out.

DH has put the roller blind up in DD’s room but we aren’t very happy with it. ☹️ The chain is really cheap and plasticky and keeps snapping at the connector. It’s also really hard to pull up & down.

Can’t send it back for a refund because it’s made to measure. 😭 I have emailed asking for a partial refund as the chain issue is really bad and makes it so hard to use.

I think it’s really £63 down the drain and we might well need to get another one. The quality isn’t great all round but could live with it if it was easy to lift and lower. So annoyed with myself.

Dropped DS off at nursery then DD & I picked up my mum and went to home bargains for a browse (I like to live dangerously). 😂

DD was a total pain as wanted out of the pram the whole time. We managed to distract her with food at some points (she was happiest with a pepperami 🤷🏻‍♀️) and at others she had random things to cuddle. One of the random things was a giant rubber shark toy that she enjoyed cuddling. 🤣 I did end up having to buy a cuddly unicorn as she wasn’t letting me leave it. 🤭

Got some cleaning things, a couple of medium Easter eggs (which are more like small ones!), mini eggs chocolate bar to try and some t-shirts for DS for the summer, 100% cotton & £4.50 for 3.

Also bought some ready made pancakes for pancake day tomorrow. Saves stress with the kids. 😊

Sold another item on v!nted, another dress I wasn’t wearing. Got £7 for it, so dropped it off this morning.

Last night I put a few more things on v!nted, 2 skirts that I never wear and a backpack that DH bought and never used. The tags were still on it. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyway sold all 3 items within 2 hours which is a lot quicker than usual. Wondering if I underpriced them now. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 The money will be split between debt and Christmas savings.

Need to nip out to the shop later to get the parcels posted.

It’s cold but sunny this morning so I put DD in the pram and walked DS to nursery. It was a workout pushing the pram back up the big hill!

The big nappy wash is in the machine, hopefully I can hang it out. Stripped and remade the kids beds so their sheets will be going in next.

Hoovered upstairs and the stairs themselves and put 2 loads of washing away. Emptied the kitchen bin and need to do the big litter tray clean out. Also need to deep clean the big hoover and the robot hoover.

Waiting on the online shop being delivered and DD will be going for her nap in the next hour.

Am about 80p off cashing out on OP and not too far off vypr either. 👍🏻

Thanks Beanie, it’s good to get stuff out of the house and make a bit of money from it too.

Managed to hang the nappies and kids bedding out on the line yesterday so they only needed to go into the tumble dryer for half the time as still damp when I brought them in.

Got the parcels sent as well so just need to wait for confirmation they’ve been received and all ok then the money will be released.

I cleaned the robot hoover, big hoover and handheld one out today. Have a variety of filters drying on the windowsill now. 😂

Also cleaned all the floors downstairs and washed the mats as the one inside the back door was really muddy. Put clean mats down while the other ones dry.

Got a washing put away this morning after hanging it on the heated airer yesterday teatime and switching it off before bed. Another washing in now and will do the same.

Walked down to nursery & back with DD in the pram again today. If the rain holds off I might walk back down for pick up.

Weighed myself yesterday and haven’t put any more weight on but haven’t lost any either. Need to make more of an effort again to exercise and eat less sugar & carbs overall.

Feeling annoyed with work (again) as I sold some lieu leave back to them as was told it would be paid at double time.

Of course it hasn’t been paid at double time and when I queried it HR copied my department manager in and said no it’s only single time. 😐 If I’d known that I wouldn’t have sold the days back!

Plus I get the joy of looking like an idiot thanks to HR copying in my department manager instead of my line manager.

Doubt there’s much I can do, I will be paid for 2 shifts I didn’t work so extra money in this pay anyway, just less than I was expecting.

Also got my car insurance renewal in and it has went up so will have to see if I can find some cheaper. 😑

That’s a shame about not getting the double pay ☹️ They shouldn’t have told you it was double time if it wasn’t 😡

Thanks Beanie & SA, I think it was a mixture of my managers being told the wrong thing & me not double checking. It’s still extra money at the end of the day, I still have quite a few lieu days so ok, just a bit irritating.

Sold a couple of bundles on v!nted so dropped them off this morning. Not huge amounts but better than nothing.

I’m glad I have surplus stamps from the secret postal survey as v!nted don’t give the right amounts for Royal Mail postage and I would be losing money leaving it on as an option! Will probably switch it off once my stamps run low.

Meant to be starting back on the survey soon and they are sending out the new barcode style stamps. Will need to exchange the old ones.

Cashed out on OP this morning so will probably get that £25 next month.

DH dismantled the bed in the spare room and we have put the mattress in a protective bag. Just need to get it downstairs tonight for the guys to
    collect tomorrow.

Going to my mum’s later to help her move the dismantled daybed downstairs. Taking her the duvet and some pillows for the big bed and she’s giving me a single duvet she has plus some sheets for the daybed.

Car insurance prices are horrific so looks like I’ll be sticking with the renewal. Very annoying that it’s went up but new policies are all a lot more expensive!
