Thanks all, DS surprisingly had another negative LFT, so think he must have picked up another bug. Poor DD has had  it and I think I had some of it too with horrible stomach cramps etc the other night.

Even more shockingly the council delivered our new bin yesterday morning! Just need them to pick up the old one now.

I have been struggling to get myself going the last few days, feeling so tired and with no motivation. All I seem to be doing is washings.

Have sold another item so including some survey money I should be able to pay another £20 off the big CC.

Boo to another bug 😩 Hope you all feel better soon.

You’d have thought the council would’ve picked up the old bin when they dropped off the new one. Councils never do anything logically though so not surprised.

Thanks SA, still feeling washed out here and back at work on early shift on Sunday. 😭

Yes the council don’t do logical thinking. 😂 There seems to be a team who deliver new bins and a team who pick up the damaged ones. The old one is still sitting outside.

DH’s car is in for MOT & service today, garage already phoned and said another spring has cracked (one of the front ones was only fixed recently and cost near enough £300 😭). No choice but to fix it, new tyres also needed in the next few months.

Unfortunately we need both cars due to working shifts and can’t afford to change either atm. ☹️

We have cancelled netfl!x as realised we weren’t really using it and it was costing us £15 a month. We still have prime & the firestick so plenty to watch if needed.

Took DD to the park this morning on the way back from the garage. She had a great time but ran away from me and fell down a steep muddy slope. I saw her running towards it and just missed grabbing her before she went. There was a fence at the bottom and lots of sharp branches about.

I got a real fright and slid down after her but she was fine, just rolled down then sat up and smiled. 🤣 Then I had to push her back up the slope whilst we both slipped in the mud and leaves. 😭

DH was no use and just laughed at us. 😱 I was shouting because I was annoyed & DD gave me a fright. Thankfully no one else was there to see me acting like a lunatic. 👀

Having a relaxing morning (as relaxing as it can be with a 4yo & 2yo 😂). The kids are still in their pjs and just pottering about. We’re going to have some croissants soon. 🙂

The car ended up costing just under £500 so the damn thing has cost £800 in the last 2 months. 😭 Practically nothing left in the car savings account because my car had its service & MOT in November.

Don’t know how we’re going to pay for it, it’s had to go on the CC for now.

I have sold another small item on v!nted so another £1.25 due. That can go into the Christmas savings which are currently at a huge £31. 😂

Need to try and add a few more items to sell.

Hoping DD will start to show interest in potty training soon but not going to hold my breath as DS wasn’t at all interested until he was 3 and a half!

I can sell on all the cloth nappies, liners and inserts once she is out of them. I have sold on some nappies & wraps that weren’t being used already as she needs less than I have for her.

Wondering if cloth pull ups are worth it or not. 🤔 DS was in disposable pull ups for over a year when he was refusing to potty train. That cost a lot of money to be honest so the cloth ones will probably be a similar cost in the long run or possibly cheaper.

  • How are the energy levels at the moment?  Re potty training,
I found my DDs were all faster at potty training than my DSs. You may find it won’t be long until the nappies are no longer needed.

I heard on the news just now that a robot vacuum cleaner escaped from a hotel and was found a day later under a hedge 🤣🤣 Watch your Eufy doesn’t make a bid for freedom 😆

Still feeling tired Honeysuckle but not much more than usual so think I’m getting there! I have 3 early shifts to work so that will probably break me again. 🤣

Oh fingers crossed DD will show an interest soon, she will often tell us when she needs changed & will sit on the potty or toilet seat but only with her nappy on. 😂
She is due to start nursery at the end of the year so it would be good if she was using the toilet by then.

SA, 😂 I wouldn’t blame my Eufy if he wanted to run away, he does a lot of work in this house. 🤣

I took DS out with me to drop off my v!nted parcel then we went to Mr M’s for a couple of things and dropped in to see my mum on the way back.
My brother was in with my two youngest nieces so DS had a nice time playing with his cousins for an hour.
