I’m actually thinking now that we could pay off the £280 next month as we have no council tax and that’s our usual payment!

Should be possible bar any terrible emergencies so fingers crossed as that would be great. Need to pay £30 this month obviously so the balance would be £250 next month. 🤞

Dancing that’s the only thing that’s worrying me about the Christmas jumpers & pjs. 😂

I think DS should be ok (I hope) his legs seem to grow more but it doesn’t really matter if the pj bottoms are a bit short. I bought him age 6-7 and he’ll be 5 next Christmas.

DD is quite tall for her age but hopefully she’ll slow down a bit. Most age 2-3 tops fit ok atm so 3-4 should be ok but it is a bit of a gamble! At least they were bargains & only likely to be worn a few times so I won’t be too upset if they’re a bit short.

There wasn’t much snow but the kids enjoyed watching it. Most of it has gone although still a bit lying, just hope it doesn’t freeze tonight. 😱

    Thanks Beanie.

Yes Bop, the council tax is horrendous, we are just in the lower part of a very high band. Dreading what it will go up to in April. 😭

I survived the birthday party today, it was very stressful as I had to keep an eye on both of the kids, especially DD as she just runs as soon as my back is turned.

Both kids had a great time though as there was soft play & a bouncy castle.

DD was knocked over by a bigger boy on the floor and the poor boy was really upset as he thought he’d really hurt her. She was fine though just had a bit of a shock and I told it was fine, it was just an accident.

DD is now very grumpy as she missed her nap. She slept in the car on the way home & for an hour at home but is still grouchy. Think she needs an early night!

😂 Willow, did you get your early night??

DD woke up about half 11 last night crying but not knowing what she wanted. DH had to get up to help me as she was having a proper meltdown. 😟 I ended up being sent out of the room while he calmed her down!

DH is working early shift again today. DS asked if he could keep his pjs on so we’re all still in our pjs. It’s a horrible rainy day so not planning on going anywhere.

I sold another £1 item on vinted so will send it tomorrow. Still waiting for the other item I sent to be confirmed as received.

It was sent via Royal Mail though so who knows how long it will take. We just got all our post from the week before Christmas the other day!!

I have some pork shoulder in the freezer so hoping to make bbq pulled pork with it either in the slow cooker or the pressure cooker part of the ninja - I’m a bit scared of the pressure cooker and haven’t switched over the lids yet though.

Really need to meal plan but having severe can’t-be-arsedness atm.

Also hoping to make some leek & potato soup as have potatoes to use up. I know it won’t take long but it’s just getting started.

DD is making me laugh this morning because she keeps folding her arms and saying “I’m NOT a baby!” apropos of nothing. 😂

Fellow ninja owner here. Don’t be scared of the pressure cooker part, it’s just brilliant. So easy. So much better than slow cooker. Any questions, I’m your woman.
