😂 oh Dancing I feel your pain too, my DH is a gadget man along with constant tech fiddling.

Drives me mad when he’ll spend hours on pointless tech stuff (or flight sim 👀) but not do something that would actually help sort the house out!

Oh poor DS2, my DS covers his nose and starts crying as soon as I mention the word test. 😟

I do feel for the kiddies, this has become a way of life for them sadly. Hopefully for not too much longer though 🙏

I know SA, it’s horrible for the kids. DS is terrified of the test and also gives us a row if we don’t wear our masks in public places!

Still feeling very tired but less achey today.

DH took DS to nursery after another traumatic LFT this morning then ran a bath for me when he got home.

Have had a relaxing day, have only put a washing away and hung another up.

Got £25 through from OP so have paid £20 off my big 0% CC and £5 has went into my Christmas savings.

Up to £28 in there now just from odd survey amounts and rounding the current account down to even it out. I hate the odd pennies!

So far I’m still the only person in the house with covid! DH & DS still testing negative and we checked DD the other night (she was not pleased) & she was negative too!

The only other person from the 1st birthday party I was at that I know now also has covid is my nephew’s girlfriend. So unsure if that’s where I picked it up or not. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Made a random discovery this morning when I finally realised what something I’ve had for literally years was actually for. 😂

It was a metal tube squeezer key that you put on the end of a tube and roll up to get every bit of the product inside out. I got it in a hand care set and couldn’t figure out what it was, chucked it in a drawer and left it.

Saw a video this morning of someone using one for a tube of hand cream and had an aha! moment. 😂

Willow, I will! I was actually looking at that sort of thing & thinking what a good idea it was, then thought wait a minute when I saw one in the video I was watching this morning (about something else) 😂

I have been very lazy today but am feeling a bit brighter. Tomorrow is day 6 of isolation so I’ll take an LFT and hopefully it will be negative.

In not so good news DS has been coughing a lot today. 😱 We didn’t do LFT as no nursery and not going anywhere but think we might have to do one tomorrow just in case. DH still negative.

There was a power cut at 5am this morning, I was woken up by DS crying and then noticed a lot of house alarms going off and that the plug in light in the hall was out.

Poor DS was crying because he woke up and his nightlight was off (a plug in one). So I got into bed with him for 10 mins until he calmed down and gave him his seahorse that lights up when you press its tummy so he was happy for me to leave him.

Power came back on just before 6 and of course all the smart bulbs came on - yes that would be the ones in the kids rooms. 😱 Luckily they slept through the lights coming on & DH switching them off again. 😂

I listed a few more things on vinted late this afternoon and have sold something for £2.50 already. Fingers crossed the rest sell. I have more things to add tomorrow.

My LFT was negative this morning, hopefully tomorrow’s will be too.

DS was up most of the night either coughing or saying he had a sore tummy. His LFT this morning had a possible very faint line so won’t be too surprised if he’s positive tomorrow. 😩 Hoping not though.

I sold a couple of other things so packaged them all up and DH dropped them off for me. 👍🏻 More money to pay off the big CC although I might divert some to my spending card.

Was a bit more productive today and hoovered upstairs plus the stairs themselves. Did a washing, hung another up and put one away.

Also did the big litter tray cleans, emptied the kitchen bin and took all the recycling out to the various bins. Gave all the bathrooms a quick wipe too.

Forgot to mention that the council have trashed our grey bin again while emptying it. 😡 This time the lid was ripped off rather than the whole bin being eaten but still an absolute pain.

No reply to DH’s email which was sent within an hour of it happening 5 days ago!! Will need to chase them for a replacement again tomorrow.

Having to use the kids Tuff tray weighted down with bricks as a make do bin lid! 😣 Not ideal as water can still get in when it rains.
