In other news, I've been given a slow cooker to test for work (I've wanted one for ages and we usually get to keep anything we test :T ) The review needs to be done for tomorrow morning so I will cook the sausages we should have eaten last night in a casserole overnight and then refrigerate and reheat tomorrow night.
I had planned YS posh burgers for dinner tonight but forgot to take them out of the freezer so I will call DS at lunchtime and ask him to take them out.
Lunch today is a macaroni cheese ready meal from the freezer and I've brought a container with me to save half for tomorrows lunch.
I need to buy some leggings at lunch time (from my £33 clothing budget!) as all my old ones have holes. I had to wear tights today and they feel really icky and restrictive

Hi Malcolm,
Thank you for taking the time to type all this out for me! We have submitted readings before, by text when we moved in and then by telephone a couple of months ago (this was after the direct debit had been put up.)
As soon as my husband gets the new readings I will definitely try doing it online as I like the sound of the real time billing. Presumably it will also tell me which tariff I am on? I signed up for the cheapest (online, when I took over the account in January) and I still have the email confirming which tariff I had chosen but I'm a bit worried I might be on the standard tariff.
Thank you again for your helpUpdate to my Eon problem
I registered online and input my meter readings, it accepted the gas one but wouldn't accept the electricity one as it wasn't what they were expecting (and said I was £1,497 in debit :eek: ) so I gave them a call.
They have input my electricity reading but the account wasn't updating so he said to check online tomorrow but that my reading was 'significantly' less than what they had been estimating. I'm not sure why my telephone readings hadn't been used but it sounds like it should all be sorted tomorrow.
Hello FatVonD and happy to help.
As the electricity readings were less than we had estimated, they wouldn't have been accepted and would've prompted you to call. Many thanks for doing this. The advisor would've been able to override this and rebill to your readings. These usually go through within 24 hours and you'll be able to see the bill online once logged in.
Guessing but the readings you gave us earlier might've been outside the billing window. For quarterly billed customers, this is open 14 days either side of the next bill date. Readings given outside of this window are recorded but not used for billing.
Going forward, you'll be able to enter your own readings and use the Real Time Billing tool I mentioned. Once logged in, you'll also be able to see your tariff on the right hand side of the first 'my account' page. It'll also be on the bill that's going through for you.
Hope this is useful FatVonD. You know where I am if you need any help or advice. Always happy to do this.

Bit of a poorly clf today. Not sure what I've got but OH and I went for pint yesterday (A single pint - honest!), came home, had tea, trotted into the living room. I bent down to put the lamp on and went all dizzy. Have been feeling rough ever since. Just heavy headed, bit headachey and dizzy so have stayed at home.
All this talk of electricity has reminded me that I was supposed to sort my energy tariff as I'd come to the end of my current fix! - edit Apparently it ends today! That was lucky!

Hi All
Congratulations to DGD Determined it's such an important step for children to be toilet trained. Fair play to you for going through it all again after raising your own children. And you Dawn brilliant Grandparents both of you (very young ones at that)
Carrie Hope you are ok. Back in October when we all got the Norovirus I started to feel excessively dizzy after we played on the trampoline and put it down to that but within a few hours was feeling shocking. I've also struggled with the dizziness during the flu as well. Foxgloves I am sorry it's knocked you for six as well despite the flu jab I think?
LL well done on your attempted fast day, am sure Friday will be better.
Hello to everyone else.
Today's small things
* Found 6p roadkill
* OHs last day off and we had a nice walk in our usual park. But today DS climbed across the river on a fallen tree which was quite brave of him, and he was very proud of himself. We also played racing sticks in the river for quite a while. And I enjoyed showing DD the catkins in the hedgerow and how they wiggle if you shake the branch, which made her giggle. Being urban kids I still love to show mine the nature that is available.
* Checked the banking
* Spent time answering a new customer enquiry, which led to quite a lot of diologue. A customer who enquired yesterday also came back with more questions. Neither have led to a booking yet but I am very pleased to have recieved 4 enquiries since yesterday.
* DS & I had boiled eggs for lunch to use them up.
* I picked up a charity shop bag that I am now using as free bin bags (thanks for the tip Foxgloves )
* YS pork to make spag bol with tonight.
Think that's it.

Cheers Bob. I'm hoping it's just the start of a cold that will go away! My ear is a bit achey on and off but I'm feeling better than this morning. Got a 4 hour car journey tomorrow so def don't want to feel rough!LBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310
