Hi everyone
Thanks for the lists Natty :A
I'm going to print them off and start at Monday! Bit behind this week as not long back from holiday.0 -
Morning all.
Seems really bizarre, as we get 'back to normal' I won't be doing what I was doing every weekend which was visiting sis.
I have done WM and TD x2, and DW, which wasn't full so oven racks and shelves went in, too.
I suppose I ought to get up...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
(((Hugs))) and take it easy, Valli. I imagine it will feel a bit surreal.
My feet haven't had the chance to touch the ground for a couple of days but the house looks fabby thanks to Flyladies! OH's 70th birthday is going swimmingly, but totally full on for another 24 hours.
Back tomorrow!Better is good enough.0 -
Morning,
Was MIA yesterday - and haven't achieved much today either so far. Although I did finally get passport photos signed, teacher friend is a bit incognito but I remembered nndn is a retired civil servant! Job done, he's known me 9yrs so all sorted and ready for post office. We'll go en route to collect DD.
Have returned library books.
DD made breakfast this morning, lol (cereal). She charged me £10 for crunchy nut cornflakes and she doesn't even wash up :rotfl:
Will do a uniform wash today, and I need to divide up my unwanted clothes into bin/CS/sell. Have already listed a designer leather skirt on ebeast - can't believe it's been hidden so long!
Jazee just go get it X-rayed, OK? XBossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Good afternoon,
I'm running behind today as, like YL, I've been playing Mum taxi yesterday evening and this morning. WM run with a uniform wash, small bit of ironing removed, bird feeders topped up yet again.
Thank for the reminder, Bossy - DD's passport needs renewing as well. Seeing as I don't have long list of housework to do (well, there just might be a teensy bit, but I'm ignoring that...), I guess I ought to go dig that out. But the shiny new seed catalogue that has dropped through my door looks far more enticing...and I do have to go out and pick DD up again in an hour, so hardly worth starting anything
Jazee, as Bossy says, maybe it's time to get that ankle x-rayed and find out what is
wrong?
Have good Saturdays all.0 -
We have:
- taken down tree and packed away all decs
- dismantled floral arrangements; amazingly the small spray carnations I used for the front door dec are still ok so I have put them in a vase.
- been through Christmas cards, putting any additions to my list.
- one load of washing done
- bird feeders filled
- apples picked for MIL
- Mr N has now gone round to MIL with some boxes to do more packing then take her to supermarket (in her new town, so she gets used to it). As we only need fruit, bleach and diesel I don't feel bad at letting him do it while I stay at home and do some report writing.
- booked myself on a free Webinar for Feb.
- made ourselves a list of things we want to do this eve, ranging from cc bill to updating calendars.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
I have done absolutely nothing today, having a real down in the dumps day and don't even know why. I have sent for the bird watching pack that's keeps being advertised. And I have done one wash load and a dish wash load. Are the to do lists a Monday to Friday with weekends just doing the usual?0

Whatever works for you; I'm usually playing catchup at the weekend depending how busy I have been during the week.
Thanks for reminding us about the bird watch/count.
Sorry you're not feeling so good; sometimes it can be such an anticlimax after the festive season and some are clearly finding it a struggle returning to the work routine. Maybe do one or two tiny chores; that way at least you won't feel bad about not achieving anything - although it sounds as if you have done stuff already.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Ha, that girl of yours will go a long way Bossy.
Tired today, have been to the big DIY store and bought a few things for the house. Helped DS2 sort out his bedroom, put some washing over the airer and attempted to rehome the last of the Christmas bits.
Resisted the urge to collect DS1s washing off his floor and do it for him, he can sort it out himself. Need to do some paperwork for DH and make some plans for next week. Off to gather up some paper for the recycling next.0 -
Battling the gloom. Have no oomph but have done some maintainance on the PC which has improved it no end... trying hard to clean kitchen. Have been very weepy though. And have managed to clear some stuff off the desk. Rabbit hutch drying and going to my friend's for tea, and wine, tonight.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
