Just popping by to say hello Cumbria, have been off line for a while. Sound like you have had a nice time relatives visiting. We've had some lovely weather too, I like the sound of reading and sleeping in the shade

Glad you've enjoyed the good weather but I'm with you - a shady place in the heat of the day is my favourite place too. Although I'm reluctant to complain as we have had such a dire spring it lovely to see some brightness.
Do you have any recommendations for places to visit in the lakes - I've done the train/boatride of Windermere. I can't do long strenuous walks but am happy to walks of a couple of miles.January spends - £587.580 -
