Slept really well last night well for me anyway.

Am glad work is over for the week, I have been in bed at 9 for 3 nights this week. Days have flown by because we are so busy. Which is very good of course , hope things relax a little next week as lots of people on leave.

Had to fill up petrol again today after going to the lakes last weekend. Paid 119.7 much cheaper near work than at home. NSD number 4 in normal spends , if that makes sense.

Tomorrow my niece and husband arrive from Oz , I am staying with her parents. Haven't seen her for 4 years and she hasn't met DGS and DGD so looking forward to that. Plus parentals return from their holiday .

Have managed to pay £180 off CC this month so pleased with that, just keep plugging away at it.

Off to wash up, bath and another early night.

  • That's loads to pay off your cc, well done :).

It's annoying that petrol has gone up in price, we seem to be filling up more often now :(.

Have a lovely time with your Oz relatives.

Spent money yesterday £3.50 in bakers on things for DGC after school on way to see Oz relatives.

Had a little chat about my upcoming trip with my niece , she gave me some good ideas for my trip to Brisbane . I had this notion of driving from Sydney , but car hire seems to be quite expensive which ad its summer there not surprised. Plus on the time side , flying will be more realistic.

Lovely to see the family and have some quality with them. Today is all about cleaning, none has been done for 2 weeks and it's beginning to tell.

Hoping for a NSD today, have lasagne for tonight's meal.,The sun is back out so can peg washing out as well.

Busy busy day, cleaning , washing more washing. Now have a big pile of ironing for tomorrow or Monday. Had an hour in the sun reading a book that I can't put down.

Lasagne was had for tea , just need to do a meal plan and shopping list for tomorrow. Need to update spending diary .

No plans for going out next week so hopefully saving some money . NSD as predicted.

Best get the washing up done .
