    Thankyou.
I will be looking at all my terms and conditions etc, and seeing what other services around me do. I do say that for Parties but hadnt for bookings in for certain jobs, however I will definitely have to charge some sort of fee.

Well Dgd is gone for the next two weeks.
The crochet class tomorrow is cancelled and I cancelled the lesson as only one child booked on it.
The aim is to clear the decks and be out of there at 2pm
Bf is on his way here again this evening. He will find me sewing on name tapes. Some 60 odd ! What fun. Mind you if I don't finish them there is no hurry as they are for the new school term.
I have my Euros and I am mostly packed. Looking forward to time out. Will be strange knowing the shop is open this time.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Ps. DS has got his car back. But I had to pay for it. But not as much as expected. Phew.
DS has already had an interview for a hotel bar, and is having a trial tomorrow night. So at least he is not sitting on his laurels. Fingers, toes and everything crossed.

Well done to your DS - he is really trying and I'm sorry he got a rough deal with that selling job.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

    Have a lovely holiday, Mooloo.
I will need to pick your brains when you come back. It looks like my hubby will be getting made redundant after 45 years in the same job!
He is very skilled at sewing, mending and making things and isquite interested in setting up a very small scale version of what you do.
It's a pity you are so far away, I would have sent him round to look for a job:-)
    Enjoy your break x

I am sorry to read that. I hope that he finds the work soon.
Glasgow is a bit far to commute, and I'm a bit too far away to open a branch up there, yet!
Remind me when I get back and I will try and help.
Just finished sewing on 70 odd name tapes for a customer. £50 worth of work. Well it took me 2 hours 12mins. But I was sitting at home in front of the tv. So not bad.

Name tags: I used to sew them on by machine, when I had a batch to do, large zig zag stitch, short breaks between each one to minimise waste of cotton, cut them apart once I'd done a few if that makes sense.

Perhaps not smart enough for paying customers but certainly did the job!

Mind you, I later had a name stamp made up with our surname, and just stamped everything. It washed out after a while, but lasted a term! Best of all, I could get the boys doing it ...
Signature removed for peace of mind

Had a very lovely bottle of Chanel no5 for my birthday from BF, and a box of Milk Tray from my Saturday girl.
Work was very quiet and this weeks takings were very low. I suppose after the hectic few weeks before it's not surprising that it's going to be less. Although it always does dip at this time of the year.
I have left instructions for the staff, about what needs to be done first etc.
The local beer festival is on today, but it was torrential rain when I closed the shop so I didn't go down to the park or the cafe.
I grabbed my bags and have come to Oxford. BF is on Babysitting duty, so an evening in.
We don't fly until about 6 tomorrow night so time to relax and plenty of time to get there tomorrow.

All set for the holidays now. Killing time really. The baby was very good last night, woke once for her bottle and was soon back to sleep. Not that I was very much envolved.
Remembered to get a stamp at the corner shop and post my tax credit form as I couldn't find my gateway log in details.
Foot is still slightly swollen but it is getting better.
I am looking forward to sun, sea and sangria! Well maybe not the sangria more Cervaja!
Kids all got in touch one way or another by the end of the day.
DS has been offered a job in the hotel he tried out for yesterday. Fingers crossed he doesn't do anything to mess that one up. Biggest is making it her business to mother him/mentor/nag/ as appropriate.
