    Woo - the new mortgage is underway! That's great, a line drawn under the past and a foundation laid for the future.

    Do you know if there's a best time of day to pick elderflowers please? I know some things are best before the heat of the day but my elderflowers are currently being baked by the heatwave.

    Those lovely sweet peas are the essence of an English summer. :)

    Beautiful sweet peas HSL2. I love sweet peas but mine don't seem to be doing much this year, I have a feeling I put them in too late.

    Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

    In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
