Just caught up. As ever there are no words for some ex's are there. Evidence what you can in case you need it as always but i know there is so little the police can really do.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -
Have you got a security camera up and can it be attached to your phone HSL?2

Thank you Lucielle, Spendless, Cherryfudge, SH, Watty1 and Janb5.
Yes we have cameras up inside that are trained on the front and back doors. They do connect to Phones. I have an extra camera to go up outside which is a priority for the weekend.I have taken photos of the outside of the shed and the padlock but hadn’t thought about taking inside photos. Thank you Lucielle, I’ll do that.
I haven’t heard anything from the ex so am hoping that reiterating the legal position is sinking in. Good point about being able to evidence any conversation.
Plodding through the week. Today was my evening off work so DS3 and I headed for the beach. I needed to see and hear the sea! It was lovely, the sand was almost white in parts. I love seeing DS enjoy the open space and sand when we are there. The sea pinks were in vibrant colour against the backdrop of the cliff. It never ceases to amaze me how they grow and bloom in what must be some inhospitable growing conditions! It was just an hour out of the evening but it certainly recharges the batteries.
Spendless - the car got fixed mercifully. I seem to have ended up with another breakdown membership so need to update my main cover and then cancel the 2nd cover.Managed a NSD today which is quite rare at the moment. Very conscious that I will be spending quite a bit with wedding bits and pieces in the next few weeks.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

You are amazing @Honeysucklelou2. You're protecting yourself and your children, living your life and not allowing bitterness to waste your time. Love Humdinger xx3

What a beautiful pic and the colour of that sky - you wouldn't think it was still May - Wow! I thought you hadn't posted much about trips to the beach/sea lately, glad you went.
Yes quite possibly ex has realised he may be chancing it too often if he continues to ignore legal stuff. Fingers crossed. Good news about the car, definitely give them a call so you're not paying twice, though if they say too late nothing we can do already paid for, at least see if they'll negotiate something else for you.
I'm looking forward to hearing all about the wedding.3 -
What a gorgeous picture! I can just feel the sunshine.
I'm glad you got some time off and a visit to the beach.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)
