Thank you SA and SH.
Feeling utterly shattered. I think it’s the combination of the journey to the funeral ( opposite end of the country) ) going straight back to work in both jobs next day and all week and the emotional rollercoaster that came with it all. I’m crawling through this week.
Haven’t really done anything other than go to work or prep for work, so am looking forward to the bank holiday weekend.
Heard back from the police. I need to ring them back tomorrow to talk through the damage .paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

You've had a lot going on - and grief over your friend and fear over your Ex's stupid antics won't be helping.

Thank you Cherryfudge, MeandO, SH & Dawnybabes...I did get some rest over the BH which was very much needed. On Friday night I slept solidly for 11 hours which is unheard of for me. Another busy week at both jobs has flown by and I’m looking forward to getting to the weekend.

Thank you SH.
Life is just really busy at the moment, juggling the 2 jobs. It’s the time of year that both start to get busier so feeling a bit like a hamster on a hamster wheel!
Moneywise, I’ve taken out some of the Help to Save money in order to clear a small balance on a credit card, which will hopefully improve chances on the mortgage front. Savings are now very depleted after having to use them for new fridge, trip away and the repair to the exhaust m so will need to really focus on building up again.
Did manage a walk in the top fields with DS2 yesterday which was really precious. The sense of space and timelessness as you look out over the village to the moors in the distance is a wonderful tonic.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

It's very important to ground ourselves in nature regularly, @Honeysucklelou2..I like to walk barefoot around the garden - I find the combination of feet & warm grass mentally calming. Most people can access some kind of free local walk for a leg-stretch & fresh air. I find even just doing pavement circuits of the village is better than nothing.
