Walk sounds lovely. Wonderful news on the keys and the security it gives you. Is the divorce anywhere near to completion?  Great to the extra hours, as long as you don’t burn yourself out.

Walk sounds gorgeous. Great news on the new locks and the revelation and comfort that brought. Good luck with the car.

So delighted for you re the keys and all the implications.  It may have taken eight long years but you have succeeded!  Well done.x
  • Thank you MeandO, Lucielle, SH, Bluegreen143 and Janb5. It is such a relief to know that the doors are secure.

Lucielle - it’s just the conveyancing following the court order left to do. I’ve heard from the solicitor doing this part now, so am hoping it won’t be too long.

Still lots of items left in the garden and odd parts of the house. I haven’t had time or energy to deal with them yet but hope to when I get to half term.

I seem to have picked up a couple of half shifts this week in addition to my 2 usual rotad ones so will need to pace myself this week!

  • @Honeysucklelou2 I have no idea how you have the energy to work the hours you do. I hope you get some time to yourself sometimes?

@Honeysucklelou2, I know you are in the region forecast to get hit hardest by storm Eunice - stay safe and I hope you don't get any damage. Will you have to go into work?

Thank you Bluegreen143, Cherryfudge and SH.

Cherryfudge - Thankfully my headteacher made the decision to shut for today. My commute is about half an hour through wooded valleys and remote lanes, so wasn’t looking forward to the journey today. We’re in the red area on the news map, so  I’m thankful to be home. DD3’s college has shut too so we can all be at home.

I’ve worked 4 evenings this week at Job 2 and was so, so tired by the end of shift last night. Lesson to note, in term time 3 shifts is my absolute maximum.

    Hope everyone stays safe today.
