Your day's food looks quite good although you could do with a few more syns. You only seem to have had a couple for the gravy (1.5-2 syns depending on whether ready made or made with granules). As you have only just started SW it would be better to have nearer the top end of syns, ie 15 for you, 20 for your OH - men get extra syns:() You should really try to have an absolute minimum of 5 a day.
You could also have more Speed foods as they would help with your weight loss. Mango is only a Free food not Speed. Sweet potatoes are also only Free not Speed. Did your plate contain at least 1/3 Speed food, ie brocolli & cabbage?
You don't have to have your HEA & HEB every day but it is advisable for health reasons.
HTH.
Denise
Good morning ,thank you very much for your response, I didn't know men get 20 syns so my dh is now over the moon :rotfl:
About half my plate was cabbage and broccoli , small sweet potato and then chicken, gravy was granules .
I will spend a bit more time looking into hea and heb and also syns, our biggest downfall is biscuits with tea and will think nothing of having 6 chocolate digestives for breakfast lunch and snack so for me it is about eating 3 meals a day instead of one and cutting out the biscuits. My husband does a non active job and his weight has suddenly caught up with him  (sorry for the essay )
So today's plan is
B-poached egg,mushrooms,plum tomatoes and beans
L-kiwi and orange
D- chicken stir fry ,cabbage, carrots,Spring onions ,mange tout
Milk for tea hex A ?!
Need to find some syns

Great attitude!
I can't wait to get back to the 10 stone days...........well they are a long way off at the minute!
Hi Lantanna
I have lost just about 50 lbs, however if you had told me at the start it was possible I would not have believed it, so you don't have to believe it, you just do it...good luck and keep going
I wish I had put a bet on at the bookies, saw some one in the paper had done that - what a good idea! :rotfl:0 -
thanks Lois - will see how many I can get through - hoping they will give me a little boost - if you know what I mean and hopefully offset, even a little, the eating out as we are away at the weekend.
Has anyone tried the SP Recipe for Cauliflower pizza? reckon I have most stuff in to be able to make it but unsure about the Cauli base!walk 2018 miles in 2018 - 781 of 2018

Wow busy weekend and then two days at work. But I was on plan Sunday night I made a huge batch of Beef Bolognese which is frozen down in portions so I can grab one for a quick dinner if needed and I took a portion to work yesterday with some pasta.
I have discovered the Birds Eye Fish Inspirations (currently on offer in Iceland at £1.75) they are delicious and even my middle daughter likes them we prefer the lemon, herb and thyme one with rice and loads of veg. At 1/2 syn each they are lovely.
Also found that fat free greek style muller yogurts with no added suger are now free Yippee the lemon ones are to die for. Even my fussy daughter loves them and they are on offer at Mr T's so now I have a freezer full of fish and a fridge full of yogurts lol.
Ran 3 miles on thursday night and been doing more walking so hoping that will help towards a loss this week as I had a blip on monday night and ate quite a few jaffa cakes and choccy biscuits. Drawn a line and onwards and downwards as we say at group.
So today so far this is my plan
B: Fruit, greek yog and quakers granola (HEB)
L: SW quiche and salad, yogurt and fruit- Sweet n Sour Chicken, rice and veg
Snacks: Option Hot Choc 1.5 syns, Cheese (HEA) and crackers (thins only 1.5 syns for 7g)Thanks to MSE savings we got to go to Disneyworld Florida.

:T to Kathryn and FE.
Hopefully test results will be fine K.:)
FE, I think is the best you've stuck to plan for a while. Well done!ilovetoshop wrote: »So today's plan is

You're likely to lose weight just because you've changed they way you eat drastically BUT...I'd suggest you eat far more than you're having today. Breakfast is fine although you could have a HEB of wholemeal toast. Lunch is no more than a snack. You're likely to get hungry long before dinner and then start snacking. For dinner you could have rice or noodles with your stir fry and they can be free. If you're happy with your meals then plan in snacks to keep you away from the biscuit tin! Many people keep syns until the evenings for something to look forward to or (and this is unofficial) save them for weekends. HTH.
I'm out for supper this evening. I've looked at the menu and there's very little SW friendly. At the moment I'm thinking of chicken on saut!ed potatoes and roast veg. There'll be syns in oil but probably better than pie and chips!;)
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk
L: ham with bubble & squeak and picklesas above
Syns: squirt of syrup and whatever in the pub
Back on it seriously tomorrow.:)0 -

Well done on your loss!!
Sadly I am on round 2, I lost nearly 7 stone and have regained 4. Just ploughing on, its def not coming off like it did the last time.
For the weight I am it should be coming off in quite big amounts at the minute with not a lot of effort but its not. I just have to keep going and see what happens.0 -
Been a busy day so far but still sticking to plan.
Enjoy your supper Maman, the chicken dish sounds lovely but if it's the most SW friendly then go for it. Hope it's worth the syns!
Today's plan:
B - bacon, mushroom, & sweetcorn omlette
L - ham salad sandwich with LTL mayo instead of spread (0.5)
D - stuffed chicken wrapped in parma ham, asparagus, petit pois & chips (both normal & sweet potato) (syns for garlic & herb lighter soft cheese - need to check how many but shouldn't be many)
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - mayo 0.5; soft cheese 2; parma ham 1.5
Ending on 4 syns so far (didn't realise parma ham needed synning - 0.5 per slice)
