My dh and I started trying to follow slimming world on Friday and I have read your first page and have been googling lots of information.
A few thing I'm unsure of is the hexa and hexb...do you have to have these and do you have to have your syns?
Also if I post our food day maybe you could tell me if I'm on the right path.
Many thanks in advance X

Well I managed to resist the comfort eating, and have lost 7 lb
Not totally sure that it is something to be happy about though, as I don't think it's deserved, and with the stuff they are checking me out for at the hospital unexplained weight loss aint good.
I might deserve the weight loss though because I haven't eaten much, although I also haven't done much. Slept most of Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Bit confused how I feel about such a big loss.Zebras rock0 -

You really need quite a bit of sweetner to make quark sweet. However after using it for some time now I find I can eat it without any sweetner and don't find it too sharp.
Denise
Try cupcake flavourings
Some make it a bit fake and blaahh but I use flavourings in quark for breakfast with berries

Your day's food looks quite good although you could do with a few more syns. You only seem to have had a couple for the gravy (1.5-2 syns depending on whether ready made or made with granules). As you have only just started SW it would be better to have nearer the top end of syns, ie 15 for you, 20 for your OH - men get extra syns:() You should really try to have an absolute minimum of 5 a day.
You could also have more Speed foods as they would help with your weight loss. Mango is only a Free food not Speed. Sweet potatoes are also only Free not Speed. Did your plate contain at least 1/3 Speed food, ie brocolli & cabbage?
You don't have to have your HEA & HEB every day but it is advisable for health reasons.
HTH.
