Can anyone tell me syns in an iceland meal for one cheesy beans and sausage please ? I have looked at Syns Allowed on facebook and googled it and cant find anything.
Just looked it up for you Tweets - afraid it's 15 syns for the pack:eek:. Hope it's worth it!quick question - I fancy giving scan bran a try but as I don't actually go to a class - any idea where I can get some?
Two options - I think Holland & Barratt sell them (they certainly used to) or do you know someone who attend group who could get some for you?
As I said earlier back with my meal plan for today:
B - porridge made with water, mixed frozen fruit (strawberries, 3 types of melon, grapes - Tesco value)
L - jacket potato; tuna mayo (0.5 syn); lettuce, tomato, pepper, cucumber, beetroot, pickled onions
D - Chilli using a French mix I picked up when we were over there last year; rice - pepper, onions, 5% mince, kidney beans, sweetcorn, tomato puree (4 syns for mix)
Had a mid morning snack of crumpet & butter (5 + 4)
HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
HEB - porridge
Syns - LTL mayo; chilli mix; crumpet & butter. May have a G&T later 3 syns
A few syns over but have plenty to spare this week.
Denise
PS I see Maman beat me to it with the syns & scanbran info!0 -
:T Well done chocomonsta! How much more to target?
well .............I think i look positively skinny, but target is set by consultant  to 10 stone so 13lb to go but we will see. My target was 10.11. weightloss is slowing right down i seem to be losing average of 1lb a week with sts one week then loss the next?
Regardless of what the consultant says I am happy with a loss or STS. It took a long time to put this weight on , around 10 years, so I am happy for it to come off slowly if that is what it takes
skinny hugs to all, and thanks for all the posters, I love reading about your journeys0 -
I'm with you there lush also not having a great time weight-wise. I don't know what's wrong with me sometimes, I have 2 great days and then something snaps in me and before I know it I'm snacking on rubbish. Or I'll do really well until about 3pm and then ruin all my good work and end up binging on something that OH has bought for himself that's hugely synful.
Got a shopping trip to Sainsburys tomorrow so hopefully buying loads of healthy speedy food will make me get my bum in gear0 -

If you're happy with where you are now then call target. Your consultant shouldn't have set your target. It is for individuals to decide when they are happy.
If you call target and then decide later that you'd like to go lower then you can reset it by 1/2 stone.

Thank you candyapple . Was going to have one for my tea wont bother now  will find something else to eat.0 -
Always interesting reading, congrats to the losers and thanks to Shala for the chart.
The first consultant I had was great, articulate and helpful. The second one a few years later was like something off little Britain and I couldn't cope.
I make my own sausages sometimes, such a giggle to do. I generally use two good midlands based bulk butchers (Northampton and Coventry) when I plan a batch, and use mainly shoulder, some belly and a lot of seasoning.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Great attitude!
I can't wait to get back to the 10 stone days...........well they are a long way off at the minute!0 -
Joedenise - thanks for the info on the oil not being a hex, v helpful. I'm going to have to rethink then as I rarely eat grains, and I'm not a fan of cooked fruit.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0

Don't do it tweets, it's 15 syns! Give it to Poppy, she'll enjoy it.;)
I've heard maybe Holland and Barrett, they have it online so worth a try.
Sorry you're not in a good place lush. Sometimes people do the plan as best they can so that at least they don't gain. Why not just do your best until you get your mojo back? I'm sure you won't be able to stop yourself eating Speed;) and you know it's good for littlie. Do keep posting to keep in touch even if it's just to rant.:AJust looked it up for you Tweets - afraid it's 15 syns for the pack:eek:. Hope it's worth it!

Thank you allLooked for syns before without much luck and will admit to eating them they are delish but no more
Thought the beans and potato would be free so was only syn'ing the cheese and sausages :cool:0 -
The having to reset by half a stone really annoys me about SW as well. I don't see why it has to be half a stone.
There is a woman in my group who is about 3 lbs under her target and is always there but feels happy there and doesn't want to go half a stone below. So she just stays 3 lbs under her target and pays coz they wont let her change her target to that!
Sorry I'm in a right little mood today with SW! LOL
We are having beef stew that I cooked last night for dinner - if Dad hasn't managed to ruin it by the time I get home!
I'm sick of looking at food at the minute, coz I am making Mums Breakfast and Lunch for dad to just lift out of the fridge and then cooking the evening meal. I've been reminded on the perks of living alone put it that way - not that I mind doing it for mum. If it was left to him dear only knows what she would get.
Going to try and get an early night tonight and then up to the gym early in the morning.0
