Its as well you don't have my consultant or she would tell you you musnt be food optimising because if you were you would have more than that off. Your the perfect example of how small consistent losses can get you to target. Wish I could bring you on Saturday as an example lol :rotfl:

That is actually dangerous to be telling you that. I had a short sharp shock when my GP told me off for losing 8lb in a week- she said that's bad for you and particularly for people who haven't got their gallbladder. I've told my consultant my GP has told me not to go for any big losses and that 1-2lbs per week is a healthy weight loss so from now on I will be aiming for 1.5-2lbs and no more- and she was totally in agreement, she's told me I should listen to my GP and that's a respectable loss.Unlike my last consultant who told me my GP was wrong when she told me not to do SP, that she (my consultant) was right and I should continue to do SP. I ignored her and listened to my GP and I changed groups not long after!

  • Was wondering are the consultants on commission for lbs lost or number of people at target as I was happy with my 1.5 off but all I got from her was snide comments about it not being as good as previous weeks and I should be losing more than that each week if I want to ever get to target!

Was thinking about just going alone as it just feels very cliquey.

Late finishing work tonigh so didn't make it to group. Weighed at home, my scales are very close to my group scales. Lost 1/2lb, so 1lb under target.
Would like to lose another 1lb this week. Going out to chimichangas tomorrow before my best friend goes travelling in India for 6 weeks so will try and be good the rest of the week.

    Good evening ladies and gents,

I found this board and thought I would pop along and say hi.
I have been following slimming world since beginning of December and have so far lost 1 stone and 4lbs, a great achievement for me.
I have a ways to go yet and will be popping in here for some inspiration and motivation.

I've never tried them but was thinking about it to find out what it's all about. I'm happy with my Sainsbury's BGTY Cumberland but as I only eat sausages about once a fortnight max I'm not worrying about it.

Hi Maman, have you bought any recently? It was you who got me onto the BGTY Burgers when I was in lurkdom. I rarely eat sausages but have been trying to get both the burgers and sausages in Sains for about a month now and they never seem to be in stock and staff unsure when they are coming in?
