    Lost 2 pounds this week.

Pleased with that as its been a tough two days! I have tried a few SP meals and replaced pasta and potatoes, seems to have done the trick, the last few days I have been picking at stuff and not perhaps syned everything I should. The hard work early week has paid off.

    Plan for this week -

Water - been much better this week
SP - continue to plan in SP teas where possible.
HXB - try and avoid HI FI bars and such, I'd rather syn these and go for less processed sugary things like nuts seeds and dried fruit (more natural sugar)

    Well done, Whiplashy and Cazza.

Wiz, I LOVE custard tarts. I’ve stopped buying them as they come in - at least – twos and I eat them both at once! (DH doesn’t like them.)

tweets, think positively – I’m sure the bug will aid your weight loss too! And you could get the whole school closed and get more holidays! ;) Seriously though, look after yourself.

Until today I was wondering what porky lights were!

    You’re doing well, mrsp.

    Sunday
    Breakfast: hexb oat crisp, raspberries
Lunch: hm leek & potato soup, pear
    Snack: mint HiFi bar (3 ½ )
Dinner: pork steak, 2 hash browns (6 ½ ), carrots, cabbage & beetroot, clementine

  • Have been totally awol this week sorry. I've had a quick skim of the posts. Well done all the losers especially Mary i think it was with 5.5 off. :T

I've been off plan this week in terms of SW but was still being fairly good. Had a 1.5 lb loss at weigh in yesterday. I know it could have been better if I'd stuck to plan but it was meal planning that let me down so I have been batch cooking loads for the week ahead today while my head's in the right place.

Very happy with total weight loss so far in the challenge of 20.5 lbs which is 3.3 points off my bmi. I need to focus on that and the potential losses over the next 4 weeks.

    Keep going everyone

    Hi all :)
Maman, still don't have the kitchen in unfortunately- it's being installed beginning on the 13th of Feb. The whole thing is being totally ripped out and started again from scratch so it's going to be about a month before I get full access :( I can only use the cooker etc when OH is at home as I'm not able to use it myself because of my disabilities but I'm going to buy some recipe books and make some things at the weekends when OH is at home to help me. I'm on a very early train tomorrow but I'm travelling in First Class so will have my breakfast on the train. The menu is pretty rigid unfortunately- but having looked at it again I've decided to go with bubble and squeak as it's full of Free food.
I'm staying in a hotel tonight and these antibiotics are making me so hungry! Luckily there's a late opening Sainsbury's local just over the road.
    Today's menu:
B: Melon, turkey rashers sandwich (HEXB and 1/2 a syn for a carefully measured teaspoon of Flora Light) Decaf coffee with HEXA s/s
L: Chicken stir fry, 2 satsumas, decaf coffee with HEXA
T: Mediterranean Tuna Light Lunch (3.5 syns) Apple, mango.
S: Quavers (5.5 syns) Heinz Tomato Cup a Soup (4.5 syns) Protein pot (spinach and egg) Water
    Syns: 14
    Night all x

Green tiger I love them too but it is only occasionally that I buy them. Our daughter sometimes buys two and gives one to her Dad I don't have one then . Sometimes I make my own using splenda or stevia and I use non dairy Pure for the pastry., even doing that is only now and then. You enjoy your odd custard tart. I do. Lol

  • Hey guys,

Sorry I've not been around for a little while. Fallen off the sw wagon again.

Managed to get to the bottom end of target but have gained some so I think I'm heavier than target. But at the moment I'm not really bothered.

My grandfather passed away a week ago so eating all of the food and don't even regret it. Once the funeral is out of the way then I'll be back on it to get back to target.

I hope you're all doing well.

    Xx
  • Morning all, early one from me as I'm trying to have an Up And At 'Em sort of week :D

Was on/off plan all weekend as usual and I think as long as I see consistent losses then I won't change that as it really helps keep me on plan the rest of the time. I am however going to aim to really up my water intake this week.

    Today's plan:
B - Muller light and passion fruit
D - Pesto pasta (1.5), bacon, mushrooms, onions, garlic
T - Bolognese from the freezer, no pasta probably as it'll be late after my yoga sesh.
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - Alpen Lights
Other - Sugar in coffee (up to 4), bananas, cucumber sticks

So sorry to hear about your grandad RJHammond, and hope you feel better soon Tweets.

Love to all, let's go for it this week!

    Morning all

Slightly disappointed to report a loss of 1lb but I did eat out 3 times last week and would have been pleased to STS normally!

Sorry to hear about your Granddad RJH.

Get well soon Tweets, that must be some bug!

    morning all,

well week two has brought a loss of -1lb
I'm fairly happy with that as I ate out twice this week, and although I offered to drive (unheard of) to help with the wine syns, I found it very hard to choose meals that were low syn. And I ave done 3 gym sessions so could also be my body getting used to that.
Still a loss is a loss!

    Plan for today
    HEA Milk, HEB Nuts
    B: muller ligt & blackberrys
L: HM Butternut squash soup (1syn for olive oil)
D: HM spag bol with lots of extra celery peppers etc added.
Snacks: carrot sticks, celery sticks 2xplums.
    And another gym session!

Sorry to hear about your granddad RJH.

LL you should be pleased with a pound loss after eating out 3 times - I would be. I'm pleased if I actually manage a lb! as usually only 0.5 at a time for me.

    Today's plan:

B - mixed frozen fruit & greek yoghurt
    L - LO chicken & veg soup
D - sweet & sour chicken; noodles - 1 syn for tsp of cornflour to thicken sauce
    S - toast, butter (4), Marmite

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - butter 4; cornflour 1
