I've not kept up very well this week but I feel I'm on the mend. I have managed to stay close to plan but the 'feed a cold' adage has been very true here.

We went out last night for a quick bite at Wetherspoons. I was going to have steak, chips and salad but fish and chips had fewer calories so they won!:D

I'm going to stay off plan a bit today and eat up Chinese meals from the freezer that have been there for months. It'll also be an easy quick turnaround after football. It's a Waitrose beef and black bean and I'll have free rice and SW chips.

I've had a SW breakfast (ham, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried egg, half HEB toast) and I'll snack on fruit for lunch.

I'm going to do my meal plan for the week shortly and hopefully all will be back to normal tomorrow.:)

    Have a good weekend all.:A

Glad you're now on the mend Maman. I can't see how fish & chips has less calories than steak, chips & salad but hope you enjoyed them - would be awful if you'd used those syns and not done so.

Weather's looking a bit brighter and not as cold this morning, thankfully - I've been really cold the last couple of days!

All the holiday washing has been done, dried, ironed & put away (only ironed DH's shirts & trousers but that's far more ironing than I usually do!).

Have been completely on plan since getting back on Thursday and very low syn too - will probably have some wine later in the week to up the syn count for the week!

    Today's plan:

B - bacon medallions, egg, mushrooms, baked beans, fried up LO mash, LO chipolata (only 1/4 syn really but will will at 1/2).
L - ham salad sandwich with LTL mayo instead of spread (0.5 syn)
    D - SC chicken & veg; mash

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - chipolata (0.5); mayo (0.5)

Not sure what else yet but will definitely have a few more syns later. Still not wanting wine at the moment but who knows by this evening:D.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

There are a couple of posters, I know lush is one that buy muscle foods. I think the syns depend on what you buy. Lean meat would be fine and some burgers (esp chicken) or plain steak hache. Some sausages are low syn but things like pork and leek aren't. I've not bought myself but have heard quality is good and value for money. Maybe give us an idea of what you're looking at?

Checking online denise and there's 8 syns difference! I knew I should have gone for the garden peas!:rotfl:

Wi with sts so ok with that. Got up yesterday fine, walked dog and came back to a full blown cold . 1-1 was coughing a goodun the day before too. Struggled to work, sat there feeling sorry for myself when office staff came in and just smiled at me. No words needed to tell me 1-1 was off poorly too :D. Couldnt enjoy it though as felt rubbish myself, the washer in my nose needs replacing :o. Sinus pain is doing me in today :(
Ate a load of nuts with bits of choc in last night but couldn't taste a thing, that means no syns right?? :rotfl:

Now a tickly cough starting :( , duvet day calls :o

Have a good weekend all :A

Like everyone else I seem to be the victim of a cold (feels like its coming on) that and TOM approaching, I do have syns for slip ups but seriously considering chewing my arm off to satisfy both the desire for a loss and feeding my cold.

    Breakfast, ham and mushroom omelette

Dinner - not sure, going to batch cook some soup so probably that
tea, HM syn free lasagna (using BNS sheets) and salad.

Liverpool doing their best to send me hurtling towards a beer this afternoon, but I'm virtuously sipping a cup of tea instead!

Last night, all banked syns were used :o

    Yesterday

B/D - Porky whites, bacon, egg, beans, mushrooms and tomatoes with HEXB toast (1.5)

T - Crispy chilli beef, salt and pepper chips and egg fried rice (2)

Alcohol syns - 70 :o but they were enjoyed :D

Going to stay syn free (ish) today and tomorrow to ensure a happy WI on Mon (hopefully!)

    Today

B/D - Scrambled egg, spaghetti and melon and apple chunks.

T - SW kebab, chips, salad, HEXB pitta, if any syns, it'll be a squirt of garlic sauce for 2

    HEXA on milk in tea

BM - Shopping and a half hour dog walk

    Tomorrow

B/D - SW fry up with HEXB toast

T - Beef and red wine casserole, mashed potato and vegetables (2)

Hope you're all having a better Saturday than me!
