Good to see you back denise.:)
I've always had my full 105 syns every week from Day1. I can see the logic in having a buffer but I find the 105 lets me eat healthily without feeling deprived. I could manage with less if I had to but it would be an effort which I'd do to get to target but not as a long term way of eating.
Thanks all for your good wishes. I'm improving and at least I can taste food a bit more today.
Hope your journey to the hospital is easier tonight lantanna. Last night sounded like a nightmare. Hope your mum's doing well.:)
That sounded like a very strange Burns Night meal lois. You did well to have extra veg.:) Hope you found SW friendly lunch WJN as you've no Speed with dinner.:)

L: bacon, mushroom and tomato omelette with picklescorned beef hash (peppers, onion, mushrooms, carrots, celery, tomato) with cauli and broccoli

Evening all
Lois- yes mum said that too! She was asking me where I had got them as she hasn't seen them in the shops. The market I go to is in a very multicultural area and they have lots of weird and wonderful stuff all year round
Finally managed to get some raspberries! I've been hunting high and low and can't get them anywhere. OH and I went for a date afternoon today as he is off work and I spotted one of the stalls at Loughborough market had some so I bought three punnets. £6  Had some for pudding after my tea and they were yummy though. Been really good again today- OH and I went to Nando's for lunch and then to the cinema but I managed to resist temptation. OH had two spicy rices and a large slaw which I have to say I was jealous of- it looked lovely!
Today's menu.
B: Satsuma, pear, doughnut peach, HEXB 2 x HiFi Light Bars.
L: Nando's Chicken Butterfly (plain, gave the skin to OH!) 3.5 syns; regular spicy rice- 2.5 syns, corn on the cob (no butter); sparkling water.
Snack at cinema: 2 x small bags of Sunbites popcorn (5 syns) medium Starbucks decaf Americano with HEXA s/s
T: Mushy pea curry, broccoli and courgette 'couscous', fresh strawberries and raspberries with Activia 0.0% yoghurt, decaf tea with HEXA s/s
S: 4 Crackerbreads (4 syns) with ham and smoked salmon, doughnut peach.
