Game was great. I'll have to start saving syns for my trip to Wembley! :rotfl:

I've managed to catch a really awful cold from somewhere so feeling really rough. Strangely, although I can barely taste anything I have been feeling hungry.

I've stuck to plan but a few syns as having lemon water with honey and really fancied a piece of toast this afternoon.

Hope I feel better tomorrow. :(

Lunch: pasta salad (pasta, chicken, sweetcorn, peppers, tomatoes and cucumber, dressing (1 Syn)), ml yoghurt

    morning all,
today is a bit uncertain (work lunch at meeting - off site so no where to store/heat if brought my own and nowhere to buy anything) I am hoping there is a fruit platter and I will just stick to that!

    B: FF Yogurt and blackberries
    L: we will see!
D: baked potato and baked beans.

How do you all stop yourself having a sneaky step on the scales inbetween WI? I admit to stepping on last night and hopefully this week seems to be working but I know I shouldnt really be stepping on inbetween!

    Morning all
Did quote a post or two but it hasn't picked them up? So:

I saw the article in the Daily Mail today about the porky lights. Ahh so they are sausages ! I'm not sure what I thought they were ! I have added them to my next online shop - I expect they will be out of stock but we will see....

I had an online shop delivered last night and no fibre one bars again. To be fair, I have tried the chocolate brownie one which we got in a running goody bag and didn't go much on it but I would at least like to try the salted caramel and the lemon drizzle though. The chocolate fudge ones - the chocolate tasted funny.

I managed to stick to my syns yesterday (I think). These were 1 finger of kit kat (allow 3) 1 mento mint (allow 1) and 2 Maryland mini cookies (allow 1 each) then organic sweet chilli sauce (I don't know how to syn this) with my tea (home made chilli) and whatever syns there were in the chilli (think its mostly free but might be the odd 1 or 2).

Today's menu is pretty much as planned although I did have two boiled eggs for breakfast (followed by the cereal I bought yesterday) Nestle Shredded Wheat Multigrain Rye & Quinoa - it is a HEB (40g) and was very tasty.

I didn't manage to cook a jacket nor the bacon so I have bought a tin of tuna and I chopped up some mushrooms too to go with my salad for lunch.

Tea is still stir fry :)

    I hope everyone has a good day.:j

    Morning all

Burns night dinner was lovely, I had the roast lamb and although my portion of vegetables was small I was with people who don't like them as much as me so I got extra. :D I was driving so no wine Syns were consumed which means I'm now on day 4 and feeling pleased with myself. Last night resulted in a last minute invitation to lunch today which is at a Thai restaurant so no idea what Syns I'll be eating but I'll go for the most SW friendly options. And I'm out for lunch AGAIN tomorrow! I'm driving to both so no temptation to drink wine, I just need to stay strong after we get back.

Sorry to hear you're poorly Maman, at least the football result cheered you up, take care of yourself. You too Candyapple, there's nothing worse than toothache or a painful mouth.

Mrs Ryan - donut peaches already? - wow, I presume they're imported. I discovered them last year and absolutely adore them.

Well done to all the losers, have a good day everyone.

  • Oh dear, well in the middle of the night when I was letting the dogs out I may have succumbed to four double chocolate digestives, putting me waaaay over my syns.

Having read about the slashed tyres theory, I won't let this derail me too much and instead of daily syns I have calculated how many I have remaining for the week and can still stay within my syns until my WI on Monday.

I really want to lose something in my first week!

    Onwards!

Btw, do people usually take the full 15 syns per day or does it vary, I can't remember from my days at group. For this first week I will be right up at full quota!!
    Weight loss 2017/2018 - 49 lbs
  • Hi everyone!

Just looking for some help. I have been on SW since early December and I have lost 1 stone 3 lbs.
However over that past couple of weeks my weight loss has slowed to 1lb per week. I'm eating plenty of speed food and I've been working hard at the gym.

Has anyone else experience4d this before and how did you kick start things?

    Thanks
