Stir fry was switched for cottage pie last night. How many syns for a tablespoon of Bisto please?
It was the only syns I had all day so I should be under my 5...
Today is warmer at least, but I'm not feeling it. However, it's my placement tomorrow and a school training day on Friday, so this is my last day in this place this week
B - Egg and mushroom omelette and toast (literally had bread every day since I decided to cut down)
D - Chicken noodle soup, sliced melon and an apple.
T - Stir-fry or mince, neeps and tatties for Burns Night and Top Bloke will have haggis
HEXA - Milk in tea
BM - The usual rushing about. I must dust off the exercise bike but I'm that tired at the moment, I must be burning enough calories by simply existing.
Hoping for a result tonight. Anyone know how many syns are in a 440ml can of dark fruits cider please? I have one in the fridge that will be eyeing me up if we don't turn it round0 -
summerlady wrote: »Thank you. I love the idea of stuffed peppers with couscous - will definitely make some of those next time.
If you don't mind using your HEXA, peppers are lovely stuffed with mashed potato, cheddar and chives (to taste) and baked for half an hour at 180Keep for days too.

I was hopeful for a great loss this week after a great start to the week. I was careful with my syns (Weds-Fri) because I wanted treats on Friday evening - dips with my fajitas and a few nachos etc.
Unfortunately Friday night treats lasted all weekend including Sunday evening when I was at friends for dinner. Part of this was bad planning - for example Sunday where I had to be up early and so didn't really eat properly - lunch was at 11am and was crackers and cheese? following by a bread roll snack at 3pm.
I still managed to get a One pound loss this week which is great and has motivated me for this week. Staying to image therapy helped as well. Before xmas I was heading home because well I know it all and I don't need to stay. I'll manage but my book (my weight losses) reflect the poor effort I have been making. I have just been updating my entries online and its disheartening to see how I've fluctuated with the same few pounds loss for many months.
I've got an idea of menu plans for most of next week and it goes something like this:
Weekday breakfast is grapes and grapefruit.
Weekend breakfast is going to be porridge.
Wednesday lunch: Sliming world chicken and black bean sw meal.
Snack if hungry: pear.
Dinner: home made chilli either with jacket spud or homemade sw wedges.
I've got Sainsburys coming tonight - assuming they deliver what I've ordered then
Thursday lunch will be Italian Style Salad Bowl which I'll serve with (if I get organised) a jacket spud and some (cold) bacon and cheese (yum)
Thursday dinner is beef stir fry with noodles. Syns for the sauce but I’ll count these. I’m also planning on running first. (hopefully 6k)
Friday lunch is Beetroot & Goats Cheese Salad. I don’t think the goat’s cheese is a HEA so I’ll need to work out the syns and count this.
Friday dinner. Lamb shank (2.5) with stir fry veg cooked in the wok this time and not steamed like last time (didn’t work) with a yorkshire or two (more syns). It will be Friday so there might possibly be wine syns but I think I’ll opt for a large malibu which I’ll measure for a change with diet coke.
Saturday and Sunday lunches are unplanned at present. Home made soup might be an option?
Saturday teatime. Steak, sw chips or jackets, tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers .
Sunday dinnertime: Roast beef.
Monday lunch: batchelors pasta pot with pear for snack
Monday tea: lamb shank (need to use them up)
Tuesday lunch: salad pot.
Tuesday dinner: not sure.
Things might change of course but it feels good to have a plan of sorts and know what I’ll be having. There might be a meal out over the weekend.
Syns I’ll be having the odd 2 finger kit kat (5.5 syns) but I aim to count my syns this week and look at my syns over the week. I.e on Friday I might have 20 syns so I’ll aim to allow for this and adjust my other daily syns accordingly.
I need to factor in my HEB options. I'll try to vary these. My A option is usually milk in my tea. I've ordered from Sainsburys Nestle Shredded Wheat Multigrain Rye & Quinoa which is new - and hopefully a HEB option.
I hope everyone has a great week. Look forward to seeing your meal plans 0 -
3.5 lb off for me please Shala
All that walking at the weekend obviously helped
.
Great loss Kathryn.
My plan for today
Porridge with berries (HEXB)
Stuffed peppers & salad. kiwi - I'll use my syns on the cheese and rice etc as most of my HEXA is used as milk in tea
trout fillet and vegetables, pear
snacks - carrot batons, chicken piece.
I also plan to do a bit of a Rosemary Conley CD today.Grocery challenge 2017 January £158.74/£200
Grocery challenge February £100.91/£1900 -

I know!! I don't like a lot of fruit but all the stuff I like is not Speed: bananas, grapes, blueberries, pineapple...I get fed up of apples and I don't like how orange peel gets under your fingernails and won't come out.
B - Mullerlight with banana, passionfruit on the side
D - Fried tinned potatoes with mushrooms, tomato, grated carrot, onion and egg
T - Slow cooker mustard chicken stew with Aunt Bessie's carrot and swede mash
Will post later with Syn totalsWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Its very rude. I like blueberries. They are great for snacking on or for putting in with porridge.0 -
Morning all,
Top girl, what brand is the cider, Strongbow dark fruits is 9.5 for 440 MLS. Kopperburg is higher. Bisto all types appears to be 1 syns per level teaspoon. I know you wanted tablespoon but hope this helps a bit. I will have to learn how to quote!
The mashed stuffed peppers sound lovely, never would have thought of that. Variety is I need otherwise I'll get bored with the same old tried and tested.
Have a good day all xWeight loss 2017/2018 - 49 lbs0 -

I'll say 4 for a tablespoon then to be on the safe side, thank you.
The peppers reheat well too.0 -

I don't peel them, I just slice them in to 8 segments and eat it straight from the peel. So much easier and less messyZebras rock0
