Welcome Hex2 to our SW thread - everyone is welcome whether they attend group, do SW online or just at home by themselves. I think you're right to get back on SW before too much damage has been done! Much easier to lose a stone or so than several stones.

LL - certainly enjoyed the weather in Jamaica which was the main reason for going, apart from probably not being able to get away in the motorhome for a few months after DH has his wrist op early April. The food was very hit and miss and not much SW friendly stuff apart from salad & fruit.

Have to say we found Jamaica very expensive - we only went on 3 trips and that cost us over £500 and only 2 of them were worth going on. Just wish we'd only gone for 10 days rather than 14 as we were getting a bit fed up with laying on the beach or around the pool drinking cocktails! Every day seemed to be split up between eating and drinking!

Today's plan went a bit awry - didn't have the HM veg soup planned for lunch but when we went shopping in Iceland (only went in for corn on the cob) DH spotted Mussels with garlic & shallot in a sauce so bought that to have instead. It was OK but won't be buying it again. Fortunately it was only 1/2 syn per portion so not too bad.

Now had 2 days back on plan and definitely eating better and not a drop of alcohol has passed my lips! Seems funny not drinking on a Friday night but definitely not missed it after the last 2 weeks!

Enjoy your fish & chips Tete and the choccy bar.

    Evening all
Ugh these new antibiotics are horrid- they're knocking me for six. Still I need to get over this infection so I can get back to the gym- am missing it! Been stuck indoors all day as having new bedside cabinets delivered. Bit down in the dumps as it was supposed to be my rugby club sponsors meal on Sunday but my player has been recalled by the club he's on loan from so he won't be there. Gutted :(
    Today's menu:
B: HEXB 2 x HiFi Lights, decaf coffee with HEXA s/s
L: Jacket spud with l/o mushy pea curry, mixed salad, 2 doughnut peaches
Tea: SW coronation chicken (2 syns for mango chutney) wedges (1 syn for spray oil) SW houmous and the last of the salad, 2 satsumas
S: The rest of the houmous with 3 crackerbreads (3 syns) Freddo Caramel (4.5 syns) Wotsits (4.5 syns)
    Syns: 15
    Night all xx

I managed to stick to my syns yesterday (I think). These were 1 finger of kit kat (allow 3) 1 mento mint (allow 1) and 2 Maryland mini cookies (allow 1 each) then organic sweet chilli sauce (I don't know how to syn this) with my tea (home made chilli) and whatever syns there were in the chilli (think its mostly free but might be the odd 1 or 2).

How do you manage to eat just one finger of kit kat? If I have treats in the house I eat the whole lot in one go, with conscious thought. One minute they are there, the next minute it's just wrappers.
