I've managed a 5 syn day today but needed to as the weekend went to pot. I'm blaming hubby who came home with a fresh tiger loaf, bread is one of my big downfalls!
Do you guys generally try to reduce syns if you have a blow out or do you draw a line under it and continue with your 15 syns a day? Or perhaps a combination of both? Just curious.

Personally I'd prefer to eat very low syn /syn free all week then I can have loads of treats at weekends. My WI day is Thursday and weekend starts here on Friday evening so Monday to Wednesday are usually very lean days. Sometimes like this week I'll go over as I'm out tomorrow and I'll have syns but I rarely did that when I was getting to target.
I start a syn bank if 105 from Thursday lunchtimes.0 -
Well I had a good weekend, but didn't do great with the food.
Saturday I had half a portion of fish and chips, a toasted teacake, hot chocolate, crisps and fruit juice, and on Saturday I had a croissant, burger, and then a chinese in the evening.
I did however walk 17.76 miles/40483 steps over the weekend according to my fitbit.
I'm hoping with the syns I saved last week and all that walking that I won't do to bad tomorrow evening.
Today I have had the day off work, and slept a lot of it so not eaten much. Also very achey and it's a long walk to the kitchen.
Breakfast - asleep
Lunch - asleep
Afternoon snack - yogurt
Dinner - Pasta and fajita chicken with lots of peppers, onions, tomatoes and mushrooms
I have overnight oats in the fridge for tomorrow breakfast, and SW quiche are just cooling then I can make my packed lunch. Think I will be too tired to be bothered in the morning.Zebras rock0 -

Hello again and thanks so much for the welcome, it's really encouraging.
Yes, it's the old green plan. I did try the extra easy when it first came out but found I needed the extra healthy extras. Green days definately worked and I used to make some lovely recipes. Back to it!
Tonight I made veggie sausages and roasted veg with balsamic glaze. Husband had his with a jacket and enjoyed it. There is enough left over for me for tomorrow. I seem to have lost my spray oil so had to use oil which will be a few syns and the glaze should have been vinegar so I guess that might be a couple more.
Breakfast was eggs on toast so all in all a good start. I just need to keep it up. Tomorrow I will hunt out some of my old SW recipe books. Some of my tried, tested and enjoyed include SW egg fried rice, stuffed peppers (so good for batch cooking) and an aubergine bake which is delish.
I seem to be craving pineapple juice at the moment so will have to factor that in, from what I see it appears to be 2.5 syns per 100 ml. I don't normally drink fruit juice but feel like I 'need' this at the moment so who am I to argue! I mostly drink squash and water but had some peppermint tea today too. I haven't drunk alcohol since well before Christmas (was poorly) and I'm not in any rush to do so so this won't be a temptation. Just need to stay away from take aways...
Thanks again and here's to a good week for all of us. XWeight loss 2017/2018 - 49 lbs0 -
Welcome back hwoolgar, sorry to hear about your loss. If you message Lush she'll send you the Facebook details. Would you like to join the challenge? There are 5 weeks left but i'm happy to put your last 3 losses on the chart too!
if so just give me your target and i'll pop it on.
Same for you moneysaverme, if you want to join in the challenge (completely optional) then just let me know, and welcome to the thread
Have you exercised before WJN? if not, if may just be water retention around your muscles that's caused a sts.. As Lantanna says you could have a brilliant loss next week. Sometimes our bodies are a funny thing!
Lovely news GFB, keep us updated on the wedding plans, we love a beautiful dress to look at!;)

Hi shala, thanks for the chart.
Can you check my line please. Wk 2 -2.4, wk 3 -3 but total loss listed as -4.4 rather than -5.4.
Now I know that I've recorded a +1 for today, so the total is right if that was included.

It includes your +1, sorry I just cut this weeks results off. My fault should have left them on, I usually do.. not sure what happened there!
