Hello all - sorry I've been MIA - had a hard week (mostly last week) but also had some really lovely news as our (baby) daughter - she's 23 lol - has got engaged! We're so delighted for her, he's a lovely young man...all guns shredding for the wedding now lol!
They'll probably get married this year as he's Canadian and she'll have to work on getting her visa and citizenship ASAP
So I had a STS last week but a nice 2 1/2 off this week - I put that down to getting a new fitbit and pounding out a good 12K to 15k steps a day and 3 SP days.
Food today:
B: 2 boiled eggs, not really in the form for anything else
L: chicken salad with loads of pickles - my new favourite (not pregnant btw lol)roast chicken with all the trimmins - going to go to Iceland to get SW sausages to make stuffing and maybe try their gravy...anyone know what it's like?
Have a good day everyone and I'll be good and check in more often0 -
Hello all,
I'd love to join this. I have just joined the online SW and have previously gone to groups. I stopped a few years ago when the group lost our leader and unfortunately the weight piled back on. I would like to lose three stone but am aiming for one week on the plan to see how I get on. Small steps!
I used to love SW food but have fallen badly out of habit. The veggie plan works for me so I shall be following this. Tonight I will be making veggie sausage casserole, there are two recipes I like the look of so will decide what matches the ingredients I have in the house. At 14 stone I am uncomfortable in my skin and feel my health is suffering. I feel I have a bit of focus at the minute so really want to make the most of it.
Also I want to get back to being more organised and batch cooking etc as this always helps eliminate the lure of the take away!
You are all so supportive and seem to be doing well so I'd be very happy to be added to your numbers x

More great losses, well done haylarulu and gettingtheresometime :T
ATT , just wanted to say I checked out the Delia goulash recipe and I'll be giving it a go as I have red peppers to use up. If you like cottage cheese, it's a great substitute for sour cream. I have it with chilli and it's yum.
Hi Maman, hope you enjoy it. I'm sure you will add extra speed anyway but I love to add lots of mushrooms and courgettes in particular but also anything else I have to hand. Mind you, from reading this thread looks like my courgette luck is out for a while
Thanks for the tip about cottage cheese, that's something I enjoy though I know not everyone's cup of tea. My own preference for the goulash is to add Greek FF yogurt or just not bother adding it at all. A dollop of quark is very nice too
Well done to all the losers, some lovely numbers coming in. I've had a sneaky weigh in ahead of official WI and the numbers are the same. I'm very peeved as I was STS last week too and had been positively angelic. This is the story of my weightloss unfortunately, seems to take forever to lose every pound

Todays plan:
B: Bacon, egg & tomato sandwich - HEB, lemon juice & hot water
L: Turkey cold meats with cucumber, onion, celery, HM sun-dried toms, spinach, carrots beetroot, gherkin, Baxters spicy slaw (another great find tipped via this board)warm salad - all the above veg/speeds with LO gmmon roast and hassleback pots added
Snacks NAS grapefruit, satsumas, coffee
Sys: shop bought latte & maybe a can of fizzy pop later - don't drink lots of this but have a fondness for coke so only ever buy cans so I can limit the amount and easily count the syns

Thank you greentiger, maman and shala I am not very okay at the moment but I will be! I'll try and lurk in the thread and cheer everyone on quietly as well as picking up the excellent advice on offer.
Hopefully I'll be raring to go for the next challenge :-)0 -

I couldn't get any courgettes at the weekend and felt a sense of impending doom after what I'd read on here
Well, I'm off to yoga shortly so just had a little snack. I do not recommend the Teriyaki Mug Shots. (Please don't now tell me they're not even free! I tend to assume all the 1% fat ones are free).

Welcome, I'm sure you'll find the thread helpful alongside your online membership as, in may ways, it's like a RL group.:)
By the veggie plan I'm assuming you mean Green. SW stopped supporting this a couple of years ago but, of course, it still works in principle and many of us have the old books. There is a number of people on here who do Green days. It might take you more than a week to get properly on plan if you're using stuff you've already got in. Do ask if there's anything you need to know.0
