Welcome back Mrs_Ryan!
Thank God it's Friday today! Although we are up earlier than on workdays tomorrow. Part of my Christmas present was a hospitality trip to Anfield (includes meal and welcome drink, hence my syn saving all week) and we have to leave at 6:30
B - Corned beef and branston pickle sandwich (HEXB + 2) and an apple
D - Tuna pasta salad (2) and sliced melon
T - Kung Pao chicken, salt and pepper chips and egg fried rice. Will snack on fruit instead of popcorn later to boost my speed.
HEXA - Milk in tea.
BM - Running round like a loon trying to get sorted for the weekend so I can relax tomorrow and on Sunday0 -
Aaagh, just want my weigh in over with now so I can enjoy my weekend. Wish there was a Friday morning class at 6am, wouldn't care where it was, I'd be at it lol
Used some freezer stocks last night to make a salmon pasta bake with veg, so have that for lunch.
M&S Skinny Burgers with Salad for dinner and then I'll hit the gym later on.
The parents are away to your part of the world Beanie to visit my Aunt and I've told them to bring me some Heck Chicken Sausages back.
Not sure if I said, but my mother goes in for knee replacement on Tuesday so must plan ahead now so I don't get derailed with SW. that's what always happens to me, SW is going well and then something happens and I get stressed etc and go completely off the rails.
Next week won't be too bad coz she will be in hospital and him indoors can fend for his flipping self for the week.
The fun will start when she gets home - well initially getting the house ready for her coming home i.e (cleaning up the mess he has made in a week) and then cooking and helping out for a few weeks.
Must get my own house, washing and everything sorted this weekend coz I doubt I'll be in my own house very much over the next while.0 -
Oh and there is the cat to attend to as well................lol Much easier to clean up after than my father mind you lol0

Good morning all, I've been a bit AWOL this week - it's been a busy one. So pleased and relieved to report a 0.5lb loss, as I have not had a good week. Meals have been OK but I have 'decluttered' a whole layer of M&S Belgian Choccy Biccies amongst other things. It's the end of TOTM though so perhaps I've been lucky and lost a bit of bloat that way.
Positives though: It's my half stone award (can I call it that if I'm not a fully paid up member?) and more importantly, it's my first three week losing streak since last Feb. Feeling very motivated to keep it going and if I can lose 2lbs this week it'll take me to 12st and single figure lbs.
I hadn't realised it was CNY so soon, so I've dug out my Taste of Asia book and will find something interesting to make - it can be my New Recipe of the Week!
Today's plan (no breakfast as I've just got up and will have an early lunch as I'm taking Grandma to a hospital appt at 11.30):
B - Coffee
D - Pesto Pasta (2) with bacon, courgette, onion, mushrooms, cherry toms, 1tbsp pine nuts (HEB), 1 tsp parmesan (1.5? info from Google).
T - Diet cola chicken with rice
HEA - Milk
HEB - Pine nuts
Syns - Pesto (2), parmesan (1.5), sugar in coffee (2 so far).
Off to see La La Land tonight so I may succumb to a treat - what's the best thing, salty popcorn?
Congratulations, commiserations and hugs all round - happy Friday everyone! xxWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
:T to tete and mad with money. All losses count and of course you can have your half stone shiny tete!
Glad to see you both back on plan wiz and ruby.:)
Welcome back MrsR. You know you can do it. You did well to get rid of a big part of your Christmas gain in a week.:)
Would your parents eat SW meals when you're cooking for them lantanna? That would stop you going off plan. Is your sister close enough to help out? I'd love a Friday morning WI too. It would give me maximum time to get over my high syn weekends. I suppose in a way Saturday WI cuts out Friday night synning which is a good thing. Isn't it?;)Part of my Christmas present was a hospitality trip to Anfield (includes meal and welcome drink, hence my syn saving all week) and we have to leave at 6:30
I've had my SW breakfast (HEB porage with HEA milk) but no idea what I'm having for the rest of the day. I need to do my meal plan and shop. I've got a good(ish) week coming up. Eating out Tuesday but I know I can have steak and salad if I want.
Will report back later.:)0 -
I've been to the new group that has just opened. Not sure if I'll go again though. I STS which is good but the room was full of push chairs and children and it was really noisy whilst the happy clappy bit was going in. She is a speed freak though and was giving some good ideas like roasting beetroot, cauli and carrots for a different roast accompanyment and using sliced BNS as lasagne sheets (said she'd seen them in sainsburys) to make it SP.
I think once the mums get stalled it will be better and as she gets more confident I guess she will ask them to stop the little ones running about and playing with noisy stuff. It sounds like I'm anti-child, I'm not but when there is about 12 in the room it was very wearing
Banana for breakfast
Sw chips, egg and beetroot for lunch
Sw BBQ chicken and rice for tea with broccoli
He a milk
He b not sure yet.0 -
Oh yes they'll eat SW Meals Maman ,
There will be no complaints about what I make them. Mum eats very healthily anyway.
Its the stress of these situations normally sends me off into the wine / Chinese etc.
But as I say I am determined not to let the stress win on this occasion.
My sister is a bit more tough love than me with the parents lol, and has her baby to look after as well as work so yes she will help out but the onus will be on me.0 -
I made a BNS sheet lasagne Matron Midge. I really enjoyed it, I'd def make it again.
Speed pushers :rotfl:they are everywhere aren't they Maman lol0 -
Thanks for that Iantanna I'll give it a go this week. I like BNS anyway so think I would enjoy it for sure.0
