  • Had a reasonable day today:

B: Porridge (B) with 100ml skimmed milk (2) + water, raspberries, blueberries and half a nectarine (the other half had gone mouldy!)
S: FF Activia, apricot, Hula Hoop Puft crisps (3.5)
L: SW Quinoa & Chickpea burger (includes spring onion & grated carrot) with tomatoes & cucumber. FF Activia.
    S: Sweet potato fries, apple
D: Twice baked jacket potato with RF cheese (A), broccoli and 10g RF cheese (2). More broccoli, green beans, broad beans. FF greek yoghurt.
    S: 1 x Ferrero Rocher (3.5 - if I remember correctly?)

I went running this morning for 25 minutes - the first time I've been since about early December so it was shorter than usual.

Had a delivery from Aldi today - I ordered some heavy weights and a stepper. I like doing YouTube fitness videos (via NowTV), so I thought the stepper might help mix things up. I get really motivated by new fitness stuff!

    Hope everyone's having a good evening x

I didn't go running tonight. hopfully tomorrow instead but I did walk home. That was 20 mins of exercise in the bag. I almost got the bus but I wasn't quick enough to get across the road and also couldn't find any change. I've had sw chips for tea which were tasty with fried eggs and ham. My staying on plan didn't happen (too many syns) but new day tomorrow.

Hi I probably should have mentioned, I am a successful EE looser previously. SP didn't exist them. But I was never able to scoff the way others did, I had to exercise moderation & I avoided simple carbs (pots, pasta, rice, etc) & got my carbs from veg & pulses.
That's really helpful to know kim . There's no reason why you shouldn't do EE using pulses for carbs. All I'd say is that if you don't want to do 100% SP (no free food) then just have 1HEB and 1 HEA.
Haha Maman.... I don't know if you will remember me from last time. I literally don't eat any speed apart from 1 or 2 things due to food issues brought on as a child. I also have a binge eating disorder. I haven't been online for over a year tho so you may not remember.

    CP xx
Oh dear, it's coming back to me and I do apologise for nagging you. You might want to try Green where Speed is useful but not essential. I've probably told you this before. It's very similar to EE but without meat/fish but you can have those ss HEBs provided you have small portions. I can let you have the quantities from my old book. Although SW have stopped promoting Green, it still works. HTH.

Hi Greentiger thanks for the welcome :hello: lol

I just ate two rhubarb and custard sweets, using the 1 syn to 20 cal they were 1 syn each, so 2 syns to add to my daily total. I love that nothing is off limits in moderation!

Have had a good SW week due to not being able to drink wine with the meds I'm on at the moment! It's WI day today so hoping for a loss, although it'll probably only be 1/2lb - I don't do big losses generally.

    Today's plan:

B - no idea as no easy to pick fruit left - only a big orange or an apple and they're a bit difficult to eat while I'm selling the raffle tickets! Need to pop in to Mr Ts for the milk on my way to group so will pick up some prepped fruit
L - Ham, bubble & squeak (using LOs for last night); pickles
D - pork chop, mash & veg, not sure what yet but possibly brussels & peas

    HEA - milk
HEB - not sure but maybe some Ryvita

If I have the Ryvita then I'll have them with Laughing Cow Extra Light so a couple of syns.

    Back later after WI.

A new day, and today could be a challenge. I'm working from home today so I'm going to have to fight temptation. Also need to go shopping tomorrow so some things are running out.

Decided to go for a big breakfast to fill me up so I'm not tempted too soon. Had bacon, egg and tinned tomatoes. I cut all the fat off the bacon before cooking so I wouldn't be tempted. Also cooked the whole packet, because if I do feel tempted I have something more appealing than biscuits to grab.

Lunch I am planning on a tin of sardines with pasta and a tomato, cucumber and onion salad. Filling but nice.

For dinner tonight I'm going to my parents. They are doing gammon, poached egg and roast veg done with frylight, followed by fruit.

HA is skimmed milk. Tempted to take my own milk to my parents because it is already measured.
HB is dried apple. A nice treat that will hopefully keep me away from biscuits.
Also plan to have some fruit.

Not planned any syns today. Firstly it leaves them free in case I am tempted, and secondly I am out for a meal tomorrow, so want to save them.

    Hi everyone.
my meal plan is exactly the same as yesterday
Breakfast - bacon, mushrooms and tinned tomatoes,
Lunch - fish pie with lots of vegetables
Early evening - porridge with blueberries
    Snacks - carrot batons

My HEXA is milk in tea HEXB is the porridge (made with water) and my syns will be the additional milk and bit of butter used in my fish pie.
I have meetings today at odd times and evening class this evening so an early start/late finish. If I am starving when I come home I will have an egg.
I will not get in a proper walk today, so I'll do some stretching exercises.

    Morning all

After yesterday went a bit pear shaped, I've realised I need to have something more substantial for breakfast as yesterday the fruit just didn't fill me up so here is my menu plan.

    Breakfast: HEB toast and marmite

    Snack: Fruit
    Treat: 2 finger kitkat
Lunch: Mixed salad bowl from sainsburys with added spring onion, pickled onions, cheese, coleslaw to be served with a jacket spud.
Tea: Not sure yet but probably birds eye prawn paella as planning to run after work and don't want tea too late.

I've got a food shop coming tonight and hopefully can finally get round to meal planning :)

    Have a good day all.

Morning everyone - hope you're all keeping well.

Another busy day at work today and I'm being taken out for lunch by an old colleague so will try and stick to plan as much as possible.

B - Porridge (HEB and 1/4 HEA), strawberries
    L - Who knows!
D - Salmon, mixed veg, mushy peas
    S - Chocolate truffle (4 syns)

I've switched over to almond milk for my breakfast as I can have 250ml's as a quarter of me HEA, and then still have cheese later on if I want - I've always mixed and matched my HE's and it's worked for me.
